(This position is bonus eligible) This leadership role is well-suited for a hands-on technical manager who brings deep experience in aviation or engine MRO, capable of directing engineering teams, driving project excellence, and ensuring full compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements of the Manager, Engineering:
•Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline (equivalent experience may be considered)
•3-6 years of relevant experience in engineering or aviation project environments
•Minimum of 2 years leading technical teams or direct supervisory experience
•Strong understanding of engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations preferred
•Exceptional project management, leadership, and communication skills
•Skilled in developing and enforcing technical policies and process standards
•Adept with Microsoft Office and engineering systems in a production setting
•Proven ability to manage engineering deliverables within regulatory and quality frameworks
•Capable of coordinating cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners and clients
Responsibilities of the Manager, Engineering:
•Lead and oversee all engineering functions within the assigned department or project team
•Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure technical excellence and regulatory compliance
•Review technical work, assign project priorities, and provide direct mentorship to engineering staff
•Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external clients on specifications, reports, and design input
•Monitor progress of engineering projects, perform cost and budget tracking, and resolve project barriers
•Ensure project activities are aligned with safety-critical requirements and internal quality systems
•Provide leadership in hiring, training, evaluations, and performance development for direct reports
•Collaborate with executive leadership to support departmental strategic goals and operational improvements
•Execute special engineering initiatives and continuous improvement efforts as assigned

As an Engineering Technician V, you will be regarded as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and use your skills and expertise to perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. **Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as the weapon system focused technician, responsible for all aspects of coordination across functional, operational and engineering domains.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Associate's degree in a related field of study, at least 10 years of relevant experience
+ A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
+ Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
+ Ability to understand and interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
+ Comprehensive understanding of the use of standard laboratory test equipment, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, Oscilloscope, Pitot static equipment, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power tools
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
+ Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation
+ Knowledge of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures
+ Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
+ FAA Certificated Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License (Required).
+ Minimum 10 years of aircraft line maintenance experience.
+ At least 5 years of supervisory experience in aircraft line maintenance Supervision.
+ Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 121 Federal Aviation Regulations
