+ Prepare and maintain files, reports, and correspondence pertaining to Airfield Management.
+ Process flight plans, maintain flight information, and flight planning data.
+ Coordinate Airfield Management functions with air traffic control agencies and associated base activities.
+ Interpret policies and directives pertaining to flight operations, flight plans, National Airspace System, and Military Flight Data Telecommunications System.
+ Perform daily airfield inspections to include runway, taxiways, parking ramps, barriers, lighting, markings, and to determine Runway Surface Conditions (RSC).
+ Review flight plans, inbound/outbound traffic logs and NOTAM files for accuracy, completeness, and conformance with established directives.
+ Ensure appropriate manuals and publications are current and available in the flight planning room.
+ Maintain the master airfield management publication reference library.
+ Utilize Quick Reaction Checklists (QRC) for emergencies/normal operations.
+ Assist in managing the Airfield Driving program to include testing and certification.
+ Coordinate with Transient Alert on the parking plan for all transient aircraft.
+ Operate a desktop and/or laptop computer, copier and fax machine.
+ Order, receive, and distribute aeronautical charts and Flight Information Publications (FLIPs) for Airfield Management and other base agencies.
+ Coordinate FLIP changes with appropriate agencies.
+ Coordinate and process Prior Permission Required (PPR) requests with appropriate agencies.
+ Prepare, coordinate, and issue Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs) and local airfield advisories.
+ Operate Aeronautical Information System Replacement (AISR), process flight plans, and other air traffic related data.
+ Operate the Pilot-to-Dispatch (PTD) radio.
+ Activate the crash alarm notification circuit in response to in-flight/ground emergencies, ground accidents or incidents, and contingency or exercise requirements.
+ Disseminate hazardous weather conditions to applicable organizations.
+ Maintain data on inbound, outbound, and local aircraft and initiate overdue aircraft actions, when appropriate.
+ Maintain the Aircrew lounge for transient aircrews awaiting aircraft servicing or arrival/departure.
+ Disseminate Aircrew Critique sheets to appropriate agencies.
+ Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent. Must have completed an accredited military or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airfield Management/Flight Service school. Minimum of four (4) years' experience at a civilian flight service or Military Base Operations, or equivalent experience in an airport management field.
+ Good oral and written communication skills.
+ Must be able to meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a required US Government Top Secret security clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a US Government security clearance.
+ On rare occasions may be required to spend 2-4 nights away from home. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
+ Must be able to workday, swing, or grave shifts.
+ Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and be able to pass color blindness test to obtain airfield driver's permit (AF Form 483).
**Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:**
Typical airfield station or terminal office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds. Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, ability to discern all colors of the spectrum (must not be color-blind), constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

What does a Manager, Operations & Administration Strategy do?
Airport Dimensions is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Manager, Operations & Administrative Strategy to join our growing Operations Support and Guest Experience team. This new role will serve as a critical liaison between Operations and other key business groups and workstreams, driving alignment across budgets, forecasts, and real-time spending. The ideal candidate will bring both financial acumen and operational insight to help streamline processes, improve reporting, and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings.
This is a full-time, exempt position suitable for candidates with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a background in budgeting, process improvement, and data analysis.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain centralized documentation and serve as subject matter expert on Operations contracts, including scope, renewal terms, and compliance triggers.
- Track and drive forward cross-functional operational initiatives (e.g., vendor contracts, in-lounge bonus programs, engagement projects), ensuring timely execution.
- Act as conduit and communication point of contact for all Operations and Guest Experience needs from critical cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Procurement, and others supporting commercial strategy

- Own and manage approval workflows for operational expenditures, staffing asks, and contract-related decisions. Monitor approval flows and clear blockers.
- Monitor actual spend vs. forecast pacing, flag risks, and support Finance and Ops leadership with timely variance analysis.
- Collaborate with Guest Experience, Procurement, D&C, Accounting, and Business Development teams to ensure alignment on spend, contract execution, and operational priorities.
- Provide spend analysis and cost tracking as needed to support access strategy and related initiatives, including airline contracts, pre-book strategy, ancillary sales, and Guest/Employee Experience programming.
- Serve as a financial and operational support resource, ensuring commercial and operational teams have the visibility and controls needed to execute their strategies.
What You'll Need?
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance, operations, or administrative planning, with a focus on operational support and financial management.
- Proven experience in managing or supporting budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking processes.
Financial Acumen
- Proficient in reviewing and validating invoices, contracts, and budgets; understands GL coding, cost centers, and entity structures.
- Comfortable partnering with Finance teams and interpreting budgets/forecasts

As part of Delta's Customer Experience business unit, the Airport Customer Service (ACS) and Cargo (CGO) teams play a vital role in shaping the travel journey-from welcoming customers at the ticketing counter to ensuring a clean, efficient airport experience and timely baggage delivery at their destination. Supporting over 22,000 airport operations professionals across 300 destinations in 52 countries on six continents, ACS and Cargo are at the heart of Delta's global operations.
We are seeking highly motivated undergraduate students to join our Co-Op Program, where you'll gain hands-on experience in airport operations, project management, and process improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Co-Op, you will collaborate with a team of airport operations professionals to:
+ Analyze and measure operational performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
+ Apply project management principles to support and lead initiatives.
+ Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across business units in a professional, fast-paced environment.
+ Provide process engineering and internal consulting services to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Participate in data collection and analysis for projects impacting multiple departments.
+ Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and customer satisfaction.
+ Recommend innovative solutions to enhance the customer experience and evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
You will be placed in one of the following teams:
+ Airport Customer Service (ACS)
+ Cargo (CGO)
**Program Structure**
This is a three-semester alternating Co-Op program. Students must complete all rotations before graduation:
+ Summer 2026
+ Spring 2027
+ Fall 2027
_Note: Students must not take academic classes during Co-Op semesters. Please confirm with your university and academic advisor that this schedule aligns with your curriculum._
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Must be enrolled in a 4-year degree program and available for three alternating semesters.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present professionally to all levels of leadership.
- Demonstrated teamwork and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Commitment to diversity, safety, and security in the workplace.

As an Airport Manager, you’ll oversee all activities at our airport location and ensure we’re running smoothly and profitably with satisfied customers and employees alike.
What you'll do:
Manage all activities at an airport related to servicing of customers at the rental counter and arranging for the rental of vehicles, the selling of incremental products to customers, and the cleaning and preparation of returned vehicles for the next rental
Manage, plan, and implement staffing schedules based on business demands and transaction levels and oversee exempt and nonexempt personnel
Oversee shuttling of customers from rental counters to cars or from cars to airline terminal
Ensure customer complaints are handled and resolved in a timely and effective manner
Provide statistical information relating to transaction and revenue projects
Assist management in the preparation of annual budget
Monitor the price of gasoline charges currently being paid
Implement HR policies
What we're looking for:
BA/BS - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
1 + years of leadership and management experience
Experience in car/truck rental preferred, human resources, training, customer service and general operations.
Working knowledge of P&L
Strong decision making ability and independent judgment to establish operational plans, within operational guidelines and in support of the business plan.
Strong analytical and math skills. Must be able to review numerous reports and other sources of data in an effort to determine best course of action.
Excellent management skills. Must be able to provide direction and support to a large number staff
Very strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate company vision as well as communicate accurate day-to-day operations information to a wide variety of audiences, including staff, operations management, independent contractors and vendors.
Very strong organization and administration skills to ensure day to day smooth operations with detailed, accurate records.
Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills with the capability to determine priorities in a fast paced, changing environment.
Strong customer service skills. Must be able to provide good customer service directly to customers, and prioritize operations based on customer rental needs.
Strong problem-solving skills and results-driven orientation. Ability to demonstrate the drive to achieve results and continuous improvement. Ability to manage performance of staff to drive district results.
Working knowledge of MS Office, BART & O2
