What You'll Do:
As a Delivery Associate, you'll drive a vehicle, delivering 200-250 packages per day. You will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve - delivering hundreds of smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more. The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is looking for an experienced ProServe Area Delivery Leader (PADL) to join our Associate to Consultant (A2C) Shared Delivery Team (SDT) to help us grow our early-in-career talent. This senior leadership role is responsible for all delivery activities within the Area (single/multi-country or Practice/Industry), ensuring optimal support while maximizing team utilization and revenue performance. You'll report to the Geo Delivery Leader serving as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.
As PADLs you will coach, manage, and guide Delivery Practice Managers (DPMs) and their teams, to ensure they are providing best in class solutions for customers and partners. Routinely engaging with C-level executives within our customers, you will be responsible for ensuring Area SDTs work closely with partner teams; drive business development initiatives through thought leadership; provide portfolio guidance and oversight; and meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets. PADLs primarily drive their teams to partner with ProServe Account Executives to identify, understand, and define business outcomes for customers by building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and successfully executing SOWs.

A day in the life

Our A2C team hires early-in-career technologists, including recent graduates, and providing training, coaching, and mentoring to develop them into productive, customer-facing technical consultants. Associate Consultants in the practice may include specialists in Infrastructure, Application Development, DevOps, Data, and Security.
This position requires on-site presence at Amazon Web Services (AWS) offices or customer locations for a minimum of 5 days per week. Remote work is not available for this role. The position demands regular in-person attendance at office locations and customer sites. Travel requirements include visiting AWS facilities and customer locations throughout the United States and internationally, as business needs dictate.
Basic Qualifications
-10+ years in IT and/or Management Consulting/Services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or people leader role
-Experience leading cloud transformation projects
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $180,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $312,800/year in our highest geographic market.
