Unity(TM) Lab Services is a business segment that supports the Customer Channels Group, which provides critical outsourced on-site services at customer locations focused on improving supply chain and research operations efficiency and effectiveness.
The position is focused primarily on scientific support services within Unity Lab Services core offerings of: Stockroom and point-of-use inventory management, sourcing and order management, dock management and laboratory support services.
**What will you do?**
+ Make on-site program replenishments and disbursements. Performs stockroom duties to include: receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and other functions according to customer requirements.
+ Follows well defined Best Practices, SOP's & work instructions. Take direction from Manager (and Team Lead where appropriate) regarding daily duties.
+ Promotes personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements without the presence of site trainer and management team.
+ Listens to customer concerns, diffuses dissatisfaction, and quickly identifies course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times

**How will you get here?**
+ Background for minimum of 3-5 Years in warehousing and logistics preferred
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
**Experience:**
+ Experience in logistics operations and warehousing preferred
+ Preferred 2 Year experience in attention to detail, problem solving and working in a team environment, preferably within a laboratory setting or services
+ Some first leadership experience preferred

**Compensation and Benefits**
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $5.26- 22.89.

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $21.00 - $28.88/Hour. Job Description
We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to manage our organization's hardware assets and equipment. In this role, you will be a key player in the procurement process, coordinating orders and deliveries while performing regular inventory audits and analyses. Your goal will be to forecast hardware supply needs that align with team requirements and ensure timely equipment availability for ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
+ Develop, implement, and document inventory control practices.
+ Liaise and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality stock purchases.
+ Coordinate logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, shipping, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
+ Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
+ Track inbound and outbound orders and enter them into inventory.
+ Analyze and review supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.
+ Create purchase orders and organize order documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Extreme attention to detail.
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Excellent knowledge of Enterprise/Manufacturing Resource Planning or Inventory Management software such as Oracle NetSuite, FIIX, or Fishbowl Inventory.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar.
+ Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities.
+ Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or similar preferred.
+ Detailed knowledge of supply chain processes and Lean Manufacturing.
+ Proactive communicator.
+ Experience in customs brokerage, hardware, Google Sheets, procurement, inventory control, supply chain, warehouse inventory, and kitting.

This is a fully onsite position, requiring presence five days a week. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
