Our Finance team is currently seeking a Finance Manager with a proven ability to work within a dynamic environment and partner with senior leadership to achieve their goals. This role will partner with leadership in our Amazon Robotics Storage Tech team in order to deliver and scale new automation products.

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Amazon Robotics (AR) develops state-of-the-art robotics solutions to power Amazon's world-class Fulfillment Operations, which handle more single items than any other company. Our collaborative team is at the forefront of building automated manipulation products to handle and process packages and singular items. Since 2012, Amazon has developed, produced, and deployed more than 750,000 robots across its operations network advancing technologies to help employees stow, pick and pack customer orders.

Our Global Robotics Deployment team is searching for a high energy Principal Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) that can manage the complexity and diversity of Deployment Services delivered on behalf of our internal Amazon Robotics Solutions and Engineering customers in a variety of building-type use cases. As a Principal TIPM, Robotics Deployment you will be part of enabling a building-scale solution incorporating extensive automation in our journey to build the regionalized fulfillment network of tomorrow. You are responsible for managing New Product Introduction (NPI) Deployment Services committed to our AR customer(s). You ensure the successful delivery of a complete Customer Delivery Solution “package” at the service deliverable level and work with service owners across the entire Deployment organization to ensure requirements are met that lead to achieving commitments and exceeding customer expectations.

As the TIPM for Robotics Deployment you seek to maximize decision-making velocity by removing obstacles but recognize that maintaining reporting lines within functional disciplines is good for raising the bar within a discipline to achieve greater efficiency; you rely heavily on getting work done through others and you are a master of influencing others to meet deliverables. The Robotics Deployment STL works across service owners in Deployment to drive prioritization, maintain commitments, and manage all the associated cross-team communication. While the Robotics Deployment STL does not ultimately own headcount allocation by service, you are empowered to audit, evaluate, and escalate risk to the functional leader when headcount allocation is a driver of service delivery risk. This team is responsible for providing finance support to key functions within AR including Operations Artificial Intelligence, Technology Deployment, and Global Safety & Support. This role also owns Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) support for the Amazon Robotics organization.
The Senior Finance Manager for Amazon Robotics will be the finance leader for disruptive new Robotics initiatives, with a focus on business partnering, strategic decision support, business case analysis, and on-going optimization of Robotics deployment and support. Leading a team of four analysts, this person will partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to this high-growth organization. This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various Operations teams to maximize the financial return of Robotics within Amazon's fulfillment network.
The Senior Manager will also lead long term strategic planning, annual planning, variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
- 10+ years of finance experience, or Master's degree and 8+ years of finance experience
- 5+ years of direct management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
