Our pharmacy micro-fulfillment centers are the pharmacies of the future! What is pharmacy micro-fulfillment? It's a pharmacy network of facilities that dispenses and ships a variety of prescriptions to Walgreens retail stores. We're using innovative, robotic technology in a central pharmacy environment. Responsible for providing order processing support for fulfillment and/or provide assistance in the preparation and distribution of prescription medication via the use of the fulfillment system. Follows standard operating procedures and performs duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
**Job Responsibilities :**
+ Using Walgreens prescription data entry procedures and guidelines, processes new patient registration by entering data into appropriate system. Handles patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enters refill orders for processing. Troubleshoots to obtain missing prescription information, and interprets medical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolves all data entry related exceptions.
+ Run automated machinery, sort medications, transition inventory through different workflow stages with a focus on quality control.
+ Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack and ship. Clean and help maintain machinery andmaintain an orderly work area.
+ Resolves Third Party Rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections andresubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
+ Provides assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the facility and those at other locations.Identifies and communicates issues to senior level staff as appropriate.
+ Must obtain active technician license or certification within the first 90 days, and maintain anactive technician license or certification

In accordance with state and federal regulations assists in the training of team members under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy within the Micro fulfillment Center. Assists leadership in the team members performance of Micro fulfillment Center duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Responsible for operating pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. **Job Responsibilities:**
+ Ensures Micro fulfillment Centers interactions with the pharmacies served receive the patients prescriptions in timely manner. Resolves store issues as they relate to prescription requests to ensure a positive customer experience.
+ Models and shares best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience including interpersonal habits e.g. greeting eye contact courtesy etc. and Walgreens service traits e.g. offering help proactively identifying needs servicing until satisfied etc
+ Develops strong relationships with most valuable customers and team members.
