The Fulfillment Center Associate has overall responsibility to work productively in the Fulfillment Center, as the Senior Director of Fulfillment, Logistics and Facilities best sees fit for daily operation. Managers or Supervisors will assign specific tasks within their respective departments daily. Each Fulfillment Center Associate is responsible for knowing how to perform all of the following functions in both Retail/Wholesale and E-Commerce such as receiving, stocking, put away, picking, packing/manifesting, returns, replenishment and VAS.

A day in the life.

  • This position is responsible for following all procedures and meet or exceed the required productivity rates established for all tasks in all departments.
  • All Fulfillment Center employees must understand and adhere to the "Fulfillment Center Work Rules". These works rules are posted on the bulletin boards located near the main entrances of the Fulfillment center.
  • In addition, each Fulfillment Center Associate will be responsible to learn at least 2 of the following tasks: operate a forklift truck; sales sample processing; returns processing; zone checks; cycle counting; shipping; and, and assist with building maintenance.
  • This position is responsible for a sense of urgency and an appreciation of the deadlines set by the industry. Because of the seasonality of the industry, timeliness is essential. Merchandise is either on time or the deadline is missed; there is no concept of lateness. Deadlines must be met.
  • This position is responsible for treating the merchandise with appreciation and respect. Lilly Pulitzer merchandise is special and high quality. It should be handled with care and respect.
  • This position is responsible for assisting in any company sales as assigned by the Senior Director of Fulfillment, Logistics and Facilities. This includes assisting with the setup, operations during and after the sales.
Qualifications for the Position
  • A high school diploma is strongly preferred, but not required for this position.

  • This position requires responsibility, dependability and commitment. This position requires a sense of urgency and the ability to meet seasonal peaks, workloads and deadlines. In the apparel business there is no concept of lateness. The company is either on time or it has missed the deadline.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
+ Secure loads to the machine to ensure operational efficiency and transport to different locations within the facility.
+ Correctly scan materials with an RF scanner for inventory purposes.
+ Process distribution orders for site or depot shipments. This includes the picking, packaging and shipping of supplies using both JDE and courier software for dispatch.
+ Maneuver a forklift (either a standard electric "sit down" fork truck or a double reach "stand up" material handling truck), electric pallet jack, and other material handling equipment safely, expediently, skillfully, while transporting full or partial pallet loads of material throughout the plant, and into/out of rack fixtures.
+ Accurately record, both manually and electronically, the movements of material.
+ Perform the staging, issuance and delivery of work orders for commercial production.
+ Quality control: Ensure that only undamaged products are sent out.
+ Adhere to housekeeping and safety management standards.

Description


Delaco Integrated Terminals, Woodhaven is a Diez Group Company family business engaged in the warehousing and local transport of aluminum coils for the automotive industry. The Warehouse is a 24/7 operation.


Position Summary

The primary emphasis of the Warehouse Worker position is the distribution of material and control of inventory, as well as making sure that all materials received, stored and shipped are correctly documented, stored safely and efficiently and moved out as needed in an efficient and professional manner.


Requirements:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.


•Scan or enter material information upon receipt or as it is shipped to ensure inventory and storage records are complete and accurate.

•Keep work area clean and neat, prepare or complete all end of shift protocols to ensure effective communication.

•Making sure all material matches up with paperwork and is tagged properly.

•Documenting all necessary information upon shipping/receiving of material.

•Transfer material onto customer owned pallets.

•Assist in placing coils on trailers and securing them down.

•Anything else deemed necessary by the shift coordinators.


Requirements

•Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and able to meet deadlines.

•Must be motivated to provide quality work, and have an ability and willingness to identify improvements and implement changes.

•Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds, standing/sitting or walking for more than eight (8) hours per day.

Education:

Education: High School Diploma, GED and equivalent work experience


Applicants must be able to pass a pre employment drug test.
