Ares Management is looking to hire an Analyst for the Global Client Solutions ("GCS") team in Los Angeles. Investor Services is expanding its team to support the firm's strategic objectives related to fundraising and client service. Investor Services acts as a centralized point of contact for external clients, internal teams and service providers on investor data, onboarding, inquiry management and data rooms across all business lines at Ares (credit, private equity, real assets, infrastructure, secondaries and strategic initiatives). The individual will be responsible for data room contact and document maintenance, capturing and maintaining investor data, supporting investor onboarding efforts, coordinating with external and internal teams, general team administrative items and projects. As this is a new team, the role will require a dynamic, adaptive, and proactive professional who can help identify enhancements to new and existing processes.

Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Relationship Management and Product Management teams, globally, to streamline and centralize processes across different groups including Finance, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Compliance and Technology
- Capture investor data during the onboarding process and investor lifecycle maintenance
- Respond and resolve investor-related inquiries and/or requests in a timely manner
- Identify and escalate complex cases or queries to senior team leads
- Reconcile data to Fund Administrators' and follow procedures to resolve any breaks
- Manage investor data rooms including set up, document and contact maintenance
- Support investor onboarding process, which includes review of all onboarding documents such as subscription agreement, AML/KYC, regulatory related and tax documents
- Assist in developing, implementing, documenting and training on new workflows and procedures utilizing technology to create and improve processes and drive change
- Build a strong network across the firm and with external vendors to facilitate strong collaboration and promote best practices across business operations groups including Technology, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Fund Administrators and External Counsel
Qualifications:

Compensation:
$75,000 - $85,000 / annum

**Job Summary:**
As a member of NRG's highly effective investor relations team, the Senior Analyst will support the development and execution of strategic communications with the investment community. As a Senior Business Analyst at HarbourVest, you will craft & execute strategies to improve investor & client data towards helping HarbourVest be more efficient, deliver a better client experience, and reduce risk. The Senior Business Analyst, Investor & Client Data will work closely with multiple internal & external teams - Investor Relations & Commercial Operations, Wealth Strategy & Distribution, Marketing, Client Services & Administration, Regulatory & Compliance, IT, external fund administrators, and data & technology vendors - to develop a sustainable & scalable data model meets the needs of those businesses. We are seeking an analytical, interpersonal, and growth-minded individual who is passionate about delivering data & technology solutions for a global private equity firm.
The ideal candidate is someone who is:
- Demonstrated proficiency in crafting and integrating data models, tools, and technologies specific to financial services.
- Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce), data modeling, and architecture.
- Experienced in developing data governance frameworks.
- Proficient in data analysis and consolidating data from various systems.
- Coordinated, strategic, and passionate about data solutions.
- Knowledgeable about private equity operations, data, and tools (eFront).
- Able to work collaboratively with a variety of teams and external collaborators.
- Formulate and apply an Investor & Client data model to align with business objectives.
- Guarantee the precision, thoroughness, and uniformity of data across various systems.

- Improve client insights by developing reporting tools in Salesforce and Power BI.

Department Overview
The Investor Communications Department ("IC") supports the Firm's capital raising efforts across various products, strengthening its relationship with investors and contributing to the overall growth of the Firm. The group is responsible for investor services and acts as the liaison between clients and senior management. The department is also responsible for investor onboarding and is the primary point of contact for investor reporting and ongoing account maintenance. The group collaborates closely with department leadership, business unit heads and the Business Development and Marketing Groups to develop and execute plans in line with business objectives.
Position Responsibilities
The Analyst (or Junior Analyst) will join the Firm's growing Investor Communications Department. The Investor Communications Group serves as a key point of contact to the Firm's investor base. This role requires a motivated individual who takes a proactive approach to working with other team members and departments and is able to handle tight deadlines in a meticulous, process-driven environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing new investor subscriptions including the collection and analysis of legal documentation
- Building out working procedures to be used by the team which will ensure a consistent process is followed
- Participating in the review process of critical Investor Communications projects
- Internal review of onboarding documentation provided to investors
- Entering and reviewing information in the CRM databases
- Corresponding with Back Office Teams on day-to-day and ad-hoc activity
- Participating, on occasion, in calls with internal and external legal partners and clients
- Liaising with clients during the onboarding phase for the purpose of processing subscription documents and gathering Anti-Money Laundering documentation
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of AML and CAMS designation preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Paralegal background or experience reviewing legal documentation is a plus
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Experience reviewing and understanding entity formation / organization documents
- Proficient in MS Office products, specifically Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Refinitiv (World Check) is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
For Illinois Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $65,000 to $0,000 for an Analyst and 55,000 to 70,000 for a Junior Analyst. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.

Financial Forecasting and Analysis:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
