+ Use the Playvox forecasting and scheduling functionality to generate long- term and short-term staffing forecast reports and schedules.
+ Communicate and share the forecast and schedules to operations, management, and other stakeholders in a timely manner.

+ Accountable for identifying efficiency and productivity concerns and actively collaborating with operations in real time. Observe the Playvox and Salesforce systems and alert management team of any deviations, follow up with corrective actions, and escalate if necessary.
+ Recognize and respond promptly to changes in incoming work patterns and improve utilization by proactively managing agent skillsets and work allocation.
+ Make staffing decisions on allocating time for trainings and meetings based on availability, need, and priority.

Job Summary : Independently perform financial analysis to support department's role in assisting management with financial planning efforts, budget analysis and monthly reporting.
Position Description:
Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst plays a key role at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute (HRI) by contributing expertise in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and the management of restricted funds. The Financial Analyst exercises independent judgment and analytical skills, providing insightful data analysis and financial reports to facilitate informed decisions by senior management.
In a highly collaborative team atmosphere, the Financial Analyst partners with other financial staff to streamline and enhance financial processes, including close collaboration with the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis on all aspects of the work. This includes participating in cross-departmental initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and implementing best practices in financial management. The analyst's efforts ensure financial integrity and compliance with university policies, ultimately supporting HRI's mission and financial sustainability.
Position-specific Duties and Core Responsibilities:
- Helps facilitate the annual operating budget, multi-year financial plan, quarterly forecast, and fiscal year-end processes, completing the work with a high degree of independence.
- Generates, reviews, and disseminates comprehensive departmental monthly financial reports.
- Independently allocates, monitors, and forecasts restricted fund balances to aid in budget preparation, departmental spending, and donor stewardship reporting.
- Prepares and maintains documentation and journal entries for the use of restricted funds.
- Consults and collaborates with departments and finance team on financial inquiries, conduct analyses, and resolve budget variances.
- Performs financial modeling and ad-hoc analyses; prepares management reports and financial presentations to support the CFO and senior leadership as needed

Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree preferably in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, and will have three to five years' experience in financial analysis and budget management. They will demonstrate:

Salary Range: Minimum $37.04/hour - Maximum $61.16/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a current job opening for a full-time Financial Analyst II in San Diego, CA.
Summary: Responsible for the monitoring, reporting and forecasting of a group's financial metrics.
Responsibilities:
Produces the monthly reporting package and briefs their group General Management after the accounting department has finished its financial close.
Reviews and manages the revenue recognition for their group and takes steps to correct any revenue that is either over or understated at the month end close process. This may include cost transfers, at risk processing or suggesting project setup remedies.
Reviews the flash reporting that summarizes the revenue recognized in the prior week in order to close the month end in a more efficient manner. Reviews will be done on a weekly basis.
Creates and changes project setups as needed on a daily basis.
Attends project setup meetings to help determine how new contracts should be setup within Costpoint.
Works with the Controller & Director of Finance to generate the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasting (FI, FII).
Tracks actual results against the AOP and forecast. Investigates any significant variances and explains to management. Assists in the preparation of update(s) to the plan using actuals and projecting year end and two years into the future on a quarterly basis.
Trains group employees on integrated financial software, and remains the POC for group employees.
Calculates contract de-obligation for submission to PM's and contracts department.
Prepares and distributes weekly progress status reports to Project Managers.
Tracks revenue, negative fees, indirect labor, unpaid invoices, and unallowable costs on a weekly basis.
Prepares Quarterly Estimated Actual Costs reports.
Reviews, approves, and assists in the preparation of customer invoices.
Prepares and inputs transfers to correct erroneous charging.
Reviews and approves employee expense and timesheet submittals.
Maintains and updates contract workforces, including WD contracts.
Prepares roster with employee information used for quotes.
Customizes Business Intelligence reports upon request.
Reviews contracts and modifications for financial accuracy.
Reviews and approves Accounts Payable CostPoint voucher edit report to prevent coding errors.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or similar field.
5+ years' financial analysis experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Must be proficient in CostPoint.
Must have advanced knowledge of Excel.
Must be able to speak, write, understand and communicate in English.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director Corporate FP&A, this role will be responsible for supporting financial planning activities such as budget and forecasting, expense analysis, as well as report consolidation as needed.
