A client of Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team and assist with building and maintaining cloud-native applications for a customer. (Customer is confidential). This person will serve as the lead technical expert for business requirements, translating complex business needs into detailed technical specifications. Guided by a Product Manager, they focus on projects related to leave of absence and claims. Responsibilities include analyzing business policies and translating them into system configurations, documenting and analyzing API integrations, and producing comprehensive functional specifications. The analyst proactively identifies and resolves potential issues in project requirements, contributing to reduced project rework. They participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives, and ensure seamless communication between stakeholders and technical teams.

This role is targeting a pay rate of $50-$60/hr but is subject to change based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong understanding and utilization of Jira

• Experience with claims or leave of absence systems such as FINEOS or EIS

• Strong understanding of API integrations including payloads, data models, and ETL concepts

• Proven ability to produce high-quality functional specifications, user stories, and use case diagrams

• Experience working in Agile environments with proficiency in Scrum or Kanban methodologies

Strong technical foundation and data aptitude • Background in payroll API functionality

Advanced certifications in business analysis or project management (e.g., CBAP, PMP) null
