Job Description
Regulatory Analytical Sciences provides quantitative residue support and expertise for crop protection product registrations and defense. This role will partner directly with internal and external teams to provide quantitative residue analytical expertise to support Good Lab Practice (GLP) and non-GLP studies, including method development for Residue, Ecotoxicology and Environmental studies. The candidate will also partner directly with global Contract Research Organizations (CRO) to ensure successful transfer and execution of methods for external sample analysis.
The successful candidate will have trace level analytical experience using Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), broad knowledge of sample extraction and clean-up techniques from complex matrices and demonstrated ability to partner effectively in cross-discipline and cross-functional teams.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Actively engages or leads analytical method development/troubleshooting for the trace level analysis of residues in agricultural samples (ex. crop, animal, environmental). Method development will include defining and optimizing sample extraction, clean-up, and instrument conditions for pipeline molecules as well as existing molecules.
+ Provides hands-on and distant trouble shooting at CROs or in Indy labs through effective technical collaboration.
+ Stays abreast of new discoveries and technologies in the area of environmental and analytical chemistry and implements new approaches when appropriate.
+ Serves as analytical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on regulatory projects for a portfolio of molecules.

**Overview**
Our Client is an industry-leading company that's pioneering advancements in analytical research and development for manufacturing processes and technology.
In this role, you will:
+ Perform analytical research and development activities to design and improve manufacturing processes or technology.
+ Develop and validate innovative analytical chemistry and methodologies.
+ Facilitate and support analytical technology transfers to manufacturing environments.
+ Plan and formulate research proposals, considering objectives, applications, costs, and resources.
+ Keep detailed records and documentation of all experiments.
+ Support stability programs in compliance with internal, corporate, and ICH guidelines.
+ Analyze drug substances, intermediates, and raw materials for clinical and registration programs.
+ Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by production and validation schedules.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and validate analytical methods for manufacturing and regulatory support.
+ Actively participate in manufacturing site activities, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
+ Uphold safety and environmental responsibilities while managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related sciences with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (peptide experience is a plus).
+ 2+years of experience with HPLC with cGMP/GMP
+ Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting scientific literature and technical documentation.
+ Advanced mathematical and statistical skills for technical problem-solving.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings effectively.
