**About the Role:**
As an Analytical Engineer II, you will be responsible for analyzing data as it relates to our deployed network infrastructure. Producing a variety of reports for general and leadership level consumption. Responsible for reporting and project management of jobs, ensuring they are on schedule and within budget throughout the installation process. Creation of budget to actual variance reporting for all network projects, including overall Network budget summary reporting. Understanding of industry and Uniti engineering processes, procedures, and standards. Analyze database records, Circuit Layout Reports, and equipment records to determine and verify existing equipment, configurations, and capacities. In this role, you will report to the Director - Engineering.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Report the progress of network projects
+ Maintain network data used for mapping, quoting, and trending analysis
+ Work with Equipment Management Systems (EMS) to mine data for general reporting and visibility
+ Serve as lead on various capacity and budget related exercises
+ Consistently manage and close tasks accurately and within required time frame
+ In some cases, you may create job packages which include technical instruction and method of procedures to provide to the installation group for installation of new equipment
+ Create ad hoc reports/dashboards, based upon situational needs.
**Do You Have:**
+ Understanding of general coding (SQL/Python) - 1 to 2 years experience.
+ The ability, or willingness to learn, to create Tableau and Power Bi dashboards.
+ Experience in fiber optic network systems
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good organization and documentation skills, project management, technical writing skills, and intermediate skills with MS Office Suit
+ Ability to manage high volume of projects ensuring all project goals and limits are met on all assigned projects

+ Support new product development (NPD) through CAE simulations, including CFD and FEA. Responsibilities include axial and centrifugal fan design, internal flow path development, and structural integrity and durability.
+ Support the Advanced Engineering team in the research and development of new to market products and technology.

Job Description Summary
Reliance One, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analytical Engineer – MBD to join our client’s Advanced Technology Development Center in Detroit, MI.
In this role, you will develop physics-based and high-fidelity multibody dynamics (MBD) models of driveline products. You will work independently to evaluate product performance, identify risks, and provide critical design recommendations through optimization studies to ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on dynamics, hands-on experience with Adams-Simulink co-simulation, and proficiency in automation scripting using Adams Macro/Subroutine, Python, and MATLAB. Familiarity with full-vehicle integration using Adams/Car is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate high-fidelity Adams models for driveline systems such as park lock mechanisms, locking differentials, disconnect systems, gear-shift systems, and clutch packs.
- Apply expert-level contact modeling to investigate and resolve transient dynamic issues.
- Build full-vehicle models to assess EDU control strategies, predict vehicle behavior, perform NVH analysis, and calculate component loads.
- Perform design iterations and optimization studies to identify robust solutions meeting customer requirements.
- Correlate simulation results with vehicle and lab data to ensure model fidelity.
- Implement control strategies for motors and actuators via co-simulation with system models.
- Collaborate with design, NVH, and validation teams to provide clear, actionable design recommendations.
- Create and present detailed analytical reports to internal teams and external customers.
- Refine and advance current standard analysis methods, developing new CAE techniques for improved prediction fidelity and efficiency.
- Participate in program peer reviews, analytical DVP&R, design best practices, and lessons learned documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Education
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on Adams experience modeling complex, transient dynamic systems.
- Expert-level skills in ADAMS/View, with deep specialization in complex contact modeling.
- Experience incorporating flexible bodies (FEM) into MBD simulations.
- Proven experience simulating the dynamics of automotive driveline or powertrain systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape for 1D modeling and control system integration.
- Strong theoretical understanding of multibody dynamics, contact mechanics, friction modeling, and numerical methods.
