SUMMARY:
Zermount Inc. is seeking a motivated Data Analytics & Research Intern to support our Business Development (BD) and Cybersecurity teams. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of data analytics, federal contracting, and cybersecurity strategy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct research on federal procurement trends, agency forecasts, competitors, and emerging cybersecurity technologies.
- Support data collection and analysis to identify BD opportunities and inform pursuit decisions.
- Assist in building dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track BD pipeline metrics and operational performance.
- Analyze cybersecurity market intelligence and help align Zermount's capabilities with federal needs.
- Contribute to proposal and capture efforts by supporting data-driven sections and visual content.
- Organize and summarize large datasets from sources like FPDS, SAM.gov, USASpending, and internal systems.
- Support creation of business case analyses and whitepapers with evidence-based insights.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Business, Public Policy, or a related field (Junior, Senior, or Graduate level preferred).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with federal agencies, cybersecurity topics, or government contracting a plus.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation (a plus, but not required).
- Familiarity with government databases (e.g., FPDS, SAM.gov).
- Interest in public sector cybersecurity or IT consulting.

- Experience with A/B testing design, execution, and interpretation.

Department Overview
The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team at McDonald's drives data-led strategies to optimize pricing, enhance customer value, and support global growth. Within RGM, the Pricing Science Operations team develops advanced analytics tools like the Price Engine to enable dynamic, data-driven pricing decisions across markets.
The Manager, SAS Programmer will play a key role in building and scaling these tools, ensuring analytical accuracy and partnering with global teams to deliver impactful, business-focused solutions.
Responsibilities
+ Develop reports and KPIs for the development and launch of the Price Engine in global markets.
+ Serve as a technical and data expert resource, supporting pricing analysis, insights, and data.
+ Partner with global teams (e.g., GCE, Products) to ensure the solution meets business needs and incorporates consumer feedback when available.
+ Program the framework and prototype solution, including user interaction design, KPI measurement, and a business case for the Price Engine.
+ Define and operationalize the approach to measure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the accuracy of engine outputs.
Qualifications
+ Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Decision Science, or a related field.
+ Prior experience developing and executing pricing capabilities in a fast-paced global environment leveraging SAS and hosted environments; Python experience is a plus.
+ Strong analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to synthesize marketing and pricing information to draw insights and actionable recommendations.
+ Experience with product development and management is preferred.
+ Ability to find and implement simple solutions to complex problems and drive process efficiency.

General Summary/Responsibilities:
The Senior Analytics Developer-Research is a high-level staff member, delivering solutions, as well as leading others in the delivery of solutions that benefit the Academic and Research capabilities for Premier Health. This position is responsible for the governance and maintenance of data platforms that enable research, and for providing analytical support to clinical research teams as they utilize self-service analytics. The ability to effectively influence within the peer group, and throughout the customer base, including with Digital Health & Technology and operational leadership, is necessary.
