**What You Will Be Doing**
+ Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Analytics and contribute to large-scale planning related to Analytics deliverables.
+ Review and analyze moderately complex Analytics challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
+ Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
+ Collaborate with client personnel in Analytics.
+ Analyze business requirements and functional system design specifications to create and execute test strategies and test cases
+ Specify test data requirements and work with enterprise data team to obtain necessary test plan data
+ Perform release validation and regression testing post-production installations, typically occurring outside of standard business hours; some weekend and/or evening hours are required
+ Work with Product Owner/Product Managers and Tech partners to confirm issues identified during testing and validate that requirements are met
+ Serve as UAT point of contact; represent UAT on project/scrum teams, release planning meetings, and release events
+ Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects
+ Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives

Reporting and Analytics Consultants are expected to perform technical tasks and contribute to project leadership and administration. They are expected to complete work independently on highly complex tasks. Reporting and Analytics Consultants may work on multiple projects at a time and have significant project responsibilities.
Typical responsibilities are project-specific and may include combinations of the following: leading highly complex research tasks or projects as a co-PI or PI, as needed; independently determining the method(s) for completion of new projects (may receive guidance on overall project objectives); developing new practices, processes, metrics or models, and providing solutions which may set precedent for the organization; applying developed subject matter and methodological knowledge and advanced understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects; providing guidance to research project and project sponsor colleagues; conveying difficult, complex or sensitive information, and facilitating productive dialogue among project stakeholders.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study is required. - Assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of the platform while troubleshooting problems and working with other internal service providers to resolve issues during implementation and maintenance.
- Provide input into the design and collaborate with the architects on the implementation.
- Document procedures and processes related to configuration, operational, and security settings.
- Provide platform capacity planning, metrics, and performance tuning recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 7 plus years of proven hands-on experience with setting up and maintaining distributed middleware and analytical environments and integration of such applications.
- Experience with working on both Windows and Linux server environments and demonstrated use of basic Linux commands for managing applications.
- Solid understanding of predictive analytics, data management, business intelligence, and data analytics concepts.
- Five years of experience developing and automating platform administration with scripting technologies like Perl, Python, batch, shell, etc.
- Five years of experience with configuration of LDAP, certificates, security, authentication, and authorization.
- Understanding of server security and folders and how they relate to application folders and security.
- Experience working with data source connectivity to various platforms like Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to manage large projects/upgrades and perform necessary communication and coordination to management, end users, and developer community.
- Ability to use appropriate analysis, judgment, and logic when solving problems and making decisions.
- Strong active listening, written, and verbal communication skills. Able to present to all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately for the audience.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to provide estimates.
- Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to balance multiple efforts and complete deliverables on time with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have:
- Certification in related technologies is a plus.
- Experience with desktop or application virtualization is a big plus.
- Experience with analytical programming using analytical tools/packages.
- Experience with administration of middleware and/or database systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and automated configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of Big Data/Hadoop, SQL programming, or analytical model development.
