Role Overview and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Reporting Developer to join the Data Analytics Team on a long-term contract. This role focuses on developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to ensure data quality prior to release. You will work closely with business owners and subject matter experts to clarify requirements, perform user acceptance testing, and create documentation to support the repeatability of annual upgrades.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
- Creating, reviewing, and monitoring requirement documents and visual report/dashboard designs.
- Collaborating with business owners and subject matter experts to refine requirements and complete user acceptance testing.
- Translating business requirements into effective Tableau or Power BI solutions.
- Creating documentation to support repeatability of annual upgrades.
- Performing unit, system, and performance testing to ensure reliability and functionality.
- Producing regular status reports and communicating project updates to stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience developing dashboards, reports, and frameworks in Tableau or Power BI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Business Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (may substitute with 5+ years of relevant experience).
- Experience working with Azure SQL Database.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Understanding of Data Warehousing principles, concepts, and architecture.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skill in creative and analytical problem-solving.
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and meet project delivery dates.
- Ability to effectively analyze and manage requirements and visualize complex issues.

Leidos Dig Mod Health IT division is seeking a skilled and collaborative Data Analytics Developer to create PowerBI dashboards to address tracking of metrics, program progress/status and other performance reporting requirements for a highly visible Information Technology (IT) services effort at the Health Human & Human Services (HHS) in Rockville, MD.
The Data Analytics Developer will work directly with Business Productivity Team members and project stakeholders to ensure that projects are advancing, service level agreements (SLAs) are being met and tracked, documented and reported on in compliance with contract guidelines and HHS policies as well as monitor and report on government furnished equipment (GFE) to name a few requirements.
Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards in ServiceNow to track projects, SLAs, GFE and other metrics and data required under the program.
-
Work with business productivity team and program management team to create reports and update the dashboards as required over the life of the program.
-
Provide data and metrics to comply with CMMI process audits, and reporting requirements as they arise.
-
Develop and distributes a status report on a regular basis (i.e., monthly or quarterly) which covers project reviews, status and completions for each month as well as those planned for the next month.
-
Analyze collected datato determine issues/trends.
-
Work with project teams to understand, improve, and correct their plans and processes.
-
Provide measurement data on a monthly basis to support the division's high maturity measurements.
-
Assist teams in developing process capability baselines and tracking against baseline.

Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems or related field. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Four (4) + years of related work experience

Experience creating executive dashboards

Experience with PowerBI platform and integrating reporting with other systems

Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system including the portfolio management module

Hands on experience with data and metrics reporting

Strong background as an Analyst with good written and oral communication skills as well as meeting facilitation skills.

Strong knowledge and understanding with process improvement, Service, and Agile.

Must be familiar with the management, operational, and technical aspects of the Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC).
