About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer for Android on the Location & Sensors team, you will be instrumental in enhancing Uber's Location Platform and advancing our geospatial capabilities. Your work will focus on improving location accuracy and sensor data processing, significantly impacting various Uber products and services, including transportation and delivery.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Android applications that utilize sensor and location data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Product Managers, designers, backend engineers, and map data specialists, to create seamless and scalable experiences.
• Drive the development of Uber's Location and Sensor SDKs, catering to real-time, high-performance geospatial applications.

Compensation
For San Francisco, CA, and Sunnyvale, CA-based roles, the base salary range is USD$198,000 per year - USD$220,000 per year. Additionally, all US location roles are eligible for participation in Uber's bonus program, equity awards, and other compensation types.
