Our client is seeking an Application Support Specialist to join their team! As an Application Support Specialist, your day-to-day activities will involve providing remote technical assistance to end users for various software applications. You'll respond to help requests via telephone and email, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure timely resolutions based on user needs. Additionally, you'll participate in the design, improvement, and implementation of software applications, and conduct extensive testing of upgrades to ensure everything is working correctly. This role offers the opportunity to give input on software improvements, making it ideal for someone interested in contributing to the development process. Excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving are essential. Occasionally, you may need to visit the office. This is a permanent position, 100% remote (California and Arizona only). The base salary range for this role is $105,000 - $112,000.

**The Opportunity:**
CACI is looking for a seasoned software development professional to support FOIA case management and other information access solutions who ideally has experience supporting systems in the Operation and Maintenance phase of the system lifecycle to work with a seasoned team of technical professionals providing full life-cycle support for multiple systems deployed in a U.S. Government environment to provide public access to information. They provide software enhancements and fixes that support users performing vital information access services to the American public.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Troubleshooting issues impacting system operation and performance
+ Developing software modules to meet customer's business requirements for new features, enhancement of existing capabilities, and correction of defects identified in the system.
+ Participate in project planning, system design, and implementation activities for new system capabilities and enhancement of existing functionality.
+ Support the deployment and testing of software and respond to testing feedback.
+ Make recommendations and advise on system improvements, automation, and risk management.
+ Interface with other members of the team to ensure they have a clear understanding of system issues and requirements.
+ Support the development of system and user documentation as well as other training materials as appropriate to promote adoption and use of the system.
**Qualifications:**
_Required:_
+ Experience performing application development in a .NET framework for applications with Oracle backends.
+ Experience working with representative users to elicit and refine requirements for system enhancements and other system modifications to improve system functionality and fit-for-purpose.
+ Demonstrated ability to access and query Oracle database data and objects using SQL
+ Plus and SQL Developer. Demonstrated ability to perform application patching, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
+ Demonstrated possession of verbal and written communication skills to work independently and effectively with the users, stakeholders, and other team members.
+ Reside within a commutable distance to customer site near College Park, MD. Six years of IT experience, plus a bachelor's degree or an additional six years of experience.
+ Possess Top Secret clearance and possess or be able to obtain DOE 'Q' access.
_Desired:_
Experience managing virtual instances and system updates in an AWS environment using remote desktop.

- Onsite position in the Rochester District Court providing end user PC and software support and troubleshooting for Court staff and the public.
- Respond to and resolve technological issues for court staff (including judges and judicial staff).
- Ability to learn the MiFILE application, and other Court specific line of business technologies including audio visual/recording equipment, with the aim of supporting business users and the public in their day-to-day use of systems.
- Interface with County IT team on incidents and problems that need higher level technical support.
- Position will be on-site 5 days a week at the District Court in Rochester Hills, as the primary function of the role is to support District Courts staff while Court is in session.
- The Courts operate as an on-premise environment.

For this role, we anticipate paying $65,000 - $85,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
