**Summary of Position:**
Provide high-level (2nd and 3rd level) system and application support to the business. Work with IT and operations management across diverse businesses to assess systems information needs and correspond with internal staff as well as vendors to ensure resolution of key issues. Play an active role in the maintenance and support of key business systems.
**Major Functions:**
Support Functions
+ Serve as second/third level support for Broker Applications
+ Work with team members, internal staff, and vendors to research and resolve problems
+ Responsible for maintenance of assigned systems including scheduled utilities
+ Monitor application performance and develop recommendations for corrections and improvements
+ Monitor internal queue and work escalated tickets as they are assigned, understanding the importance of impact, urgency, and severity
+ May be asked to provide work direction for Level 1 support team
+ Documentation of resolution steps for a team knowledge base as well as a L1 knowledge base
+ As required, coordinate activities with technical support staff and operations management
+ Manage and administer application servers
+ Project Functions as required
+ Perform system, integration, and functional verification tests for software; coordinate user acceptance testing; review test results with user and obtain user approval
+ Develop and maintain computer system documentation including specifications through change controls, procedures, and other relevant information in accordance with defined standards
+ Implement software configuration and coding changes and coordinate the production move
+ Recommend solutions or alternatives to meet end-user needs or to help users perform their job more efficiently
+ Identify system impact of changes in the Company business, user needs, external business environment (i.e. Carrier Systems) and operating systems
**Education, Knowledge, Training, Skills and Experience Required:**
+ 2 to 3+ years' experience administering a core Broker Management Systems preferred (Epic, TAM, Sagitta or AMS360)
+ 2 to 3 years' experience in the Insurance industry preferred
+ 2+ years' experience working with and administrating application back-ends/servers
+ Experience working in a distributed network environment preferred
+ Experience working with end users and providing production support preferred
+ Experience developing test plans and data, testing and verification of results preferred
+ Excellent interpersonal skills
+ Excellent critical thinking abilities
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Evenings, weekends or non-regular hours may be required
+ This position is hybrid to a local HUB office (Chicago preferred)

**The Opportunity:**
CACI is looking for a seasoned software development professional to support FOIA case management and other information access solutions who ideally has experience supporting systems in the Operation and Maintenance phase of the system lifecycle to work with a seasoned team of technical professionals providing full life-cycle support for multiple systems deployed in a U.S. Government environment to provide public access to information. They provide software enhancements and fixes that support users performing vital information access services to the American public.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Troubleshooting issues impacting system operation and performance
+ Developing software modules to meet customer's business requirements for new features, enhancement of existing capabilities, and correction of defects identified in the system.
+ Participate in project planning, system design, and implementation activities for new system capabilities and enhancement of existing functionality.
+ Support the deployment and testing of software and respond to testing feedback.
+ Make recommendations and advise on system improvements, automation, and risk management.
+ Interface with other members of the team to ensure they have a clear understanding of system issues and requirements.

**Qualifications:**

+ Experience performing application development in a .NET framework for applications with Oracle backends.

+ Demonstrated ability to access and query Oracle database data and objects using SQL
+ Plus and SQL Developer. Demonstrated ability to perform application patching, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
+ Demonstrated possession of verbal and written communication skills to work independently and effectively with the users, stakeholders, and other team members.
+ Reside within a commutable distance to customer site near College Park, MD. Six years of IT experience, plus a bachelor's degree or an additional six years of experience.
+ Possess Top Secret clearance and possess or be able to obtain DOE 'Q' access.

Experience managing virtual instances and system updates in an AWS environment using remote desktop.

  • Onsite position in the Rochester District Court providing end user PC and software support and troubleshooting for Court staff and the public.
  • Respond to and resolve technological issues for court staff (including judges and judicial staff).
  • Ability to learn the MiFILE application, and other Court specific line of business technologies including audio visual/recording equipment, with the aim of supporting business users and the public in their day-to-day use of systems.
  • Interface with County IT team on incidents and problems that need higher level technical support.
  • Position will be on-site 5 days a week at the District Court in Rochester Hills, as the primary function of the role is to support District Courts staff while Court is in session.
  • The Courts operate as an on-premise environment.
  • Contractor will interview with and report to District Court Administrator. Candidate MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK: A full background check is not required prior to candidate submittal.
  • That said, with the exception of some traffic offenses, candidates with a prior conviction will not pass the County's background check process and cannot be contracted for a role.
