WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF A FOOD SERVICE APPRENTICE AT KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE?
The Food Service Apprenticeship Team Member is expected to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in food preparation, cooking, and service while working under the supervision of experienced chefs or food service professionals. This role is designed to provide apprentices with the knowledge and practical expertise needed to pursue a career in the food and hospitality industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Understand the preliminary period before official acceptance into a specific apprenticeship track
• Follow all requirements for the apprenticeship program
• Understand and abide by the company's cooking methods, kitchen rules, policies and procedures
• Have complete menu knowledge and be able to share with guests.
• Assure guest satisfaction by greeting all guests, visiting tables, responding to guest food and service issues
• Comply with all food safety standards
• Perform all position extra duties as dictated by guest volume demands
• Interact with all team members in a positive productive manner
• Maintain organization in all product storage areas
• Willing to assist in other food service related areas
• Perform all other duties as required or assigned.
