- Produce construction-ready documentation using Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, Sketchup, or other interior design software.
- Document design changes during frame walks and site reviews.
- Research and apply current design trends and innovative materials.
- Create marketing floorplans and interior plans suitable for real estate agents, brochures, and web use.
- Balance creativity, constructability, and cost-to-value in all design decisions.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of interior design experience in a residential construction, architecture, or homebuilding environment (residential, multifamily, or commercial).
- Proficiency in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, Sketchup, or other interior design software; ability to generate construction documentation.
- Strong understanding of space planning, floor planning, residential construction, and building systems.
- General understanding of relevant building codes for interiors.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills; able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong design sensibility, trend awareness, and problem-solving mindset.
- Effective communicator with stakeholders across construction, purchasing, and leadership (no direct client interface).
You'll Be a Good Fit If…
- You balance creativity with financial and construction parameters.
- You have a keen eye for design and an instinct for where trends are headed.
- You’re tech-savvy with an understanding of key construction and design programs.
- You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and third-party partners.
- You thrive on ownership — this role carries full accountability for interior design decisions.
Salary Range
- $100,000 to $150,000 Annually + Bonus
- This is the expected pay range , not a guaranteed salary. It reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the role. The actual salary range will depending on the candidate individual qualifications and overall fit for the position.
