Our company was founded in 2006 specializing in all things technical forbus-based public transit systems in the US. This means we design, manufacture,and manage all kinds of different products and features, including driverinterfaces, dispatch communications, passenger counters, announcers, GPStracking, and reporting & data analytics. It also means we build real-timeinformation systems for riders including apps and digital signage found at busstops. We have relationships with Apple Maps, Google Maps, Transit app, and ourwork goes out to millions of riders on those platforms. Our product is like airtraffic control, but for buses. TheUS-based division of the company has approximately 60 people, with 15 inthe product/engineering department. It's the best of both worlds: small companyfeel with big company support.
We are fully remote with offsites once or twice a year and physicaloffices that some folks choose to use in Downtown LA & Houston, TX.

We are looking for problem solvers, not just people who can write code.If you have experience with writing and maintaining mission critical code andknow how deliver reliable well tested code consistently, we are looking foryou! As a back end engineer you should have skills and talents necessary to beable to track down and prevent problems while keeping the wider scope of thesystem in mind. You must also have a clear understand of what good looks like.Much of our code is legacy code and we need talented people to help usstrategically decide how to incrementally move forward without disrupting otherservices.
We need someone with:
- A strong background in C# .NET
- A firm grasp of working with SQL Databases
- A deep understanding of both Unit and Integration Testing
- 3-5 years of total experience

As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Vendor Platform or Vendor Storefront team, you'll be working directly with our engineering, design & product teams and be responsible for shipping full projects and features that immediately benefit our customers.

Posición : Ingeniero de Proyecto
Objetivo
Coordinar todas las actividades técnicas para el desarrollo de los proyectos y ejecutar de conformidad con los parámetros asignados.
Tareas
- Asistir a las reuniones de proyecto, según sea requerido.
- Evaluar, recomendar, disciplinar, asignar deberes, responsabilidades y establecer alcance de autoridad del personal a su cargo.
- Coordinar que la construcción e instalación estén en cumplimiento con los planos y especificaciones del proyecto.
- Preparar las requisiciones de materiales, equipos y herramientas para sus proyectos
- Coordinar con el Departamento de Tráfico/Administración el mantenimiento y reparación de las herramientas asignadas a su proyecto.
- Responsable por el inventario de materiales, herramientas y equipos en sus proyectos.
- Verificar y aprobar los conduces de compra de materiales/herramientas y equipos para sus proyectos.
- Preparar los informes de facturación mensual de cada proyecto y presentarlos al Gerente de Operaciones para revisión y/o al dueño / contratista para aprobación en las fechas establecidas.
- Informar a su Supervisor inmediato sobre los cambios en las especificaciones y/o diseño inmediatamente se tenga conocimiento de dichos cambios.
- Preparar los estimados de cambios para los proyectos asignados.
- Verificar, aprobar y presentar cualquier excepción a las nóminas de sus trabajadores al Departamento de Contabilidad para pago.
- Preparar y presentar para aprobación su Supervisor los de trabajos requeridos para su proyecto.
- Orientar y supervisar a los trabajadores a su cargo sobre las políticas de la empresa.
- Orientar y supervisar que se cumpla con las regulaciones de salud y seguridad en las áreas de trabajo.
- Analizar y resolver situaciones de trabajo y/o asistir a los trabajadores en la solución de éstos.
- Proveer al personal de campo a su cargo toda la información necesaria, relevante y fidedigna para la ejecución eficiente del proyecto.
- Cumplir con todas las normas establecidas en el Manual del Empleado.
Requisitos
- Cinco (5) años de experiencia o más en construcción comercial
- BA en Ingeniería Eléctrica o área relacionada
- Licencia PE (Preferiblemente)
- Bilingüe (Inglés-Español) oral y escrito.
