Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of arts and crafts programs within a designated Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland Clubhouse. Plan, develop, oversee implementation and supervise departmental programs and program staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare Youth for Success

  1. Plan and oversee the administration of designated Clubhouse arts and crafts programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes:

· Establish Clubhouse program objectives consistent with organizational goals and mission.

· Oversee the provision of day-to-day program activities in accordance with established standards and goals.

· Ensure that members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas/activities and receive instruction and constructive feedback to develop skills in program area(s).

· Demonstrate leadership to assure conduct, safety and development of members.

Program Development and Implementation

  1. Establish and maintain Clubhouse arts and crafts program goals and settings that insure the health and safety of members. Ensure that departmental staff understand and effectively communicate standards of program; that they ensure program areas are safe, well ventilated and well lit; and that Club equipment is maintained in good working condition.

  2. Ensure the evaluation of Club arts and crafts programs on a continual basis and ensures programs/activities respond to member needs and address their gender and cultural diversity.

  3. Control departmental and other assigned program and activity expenditures within approved budget.

Supervision

  1. Allocate and monitor work assigned to program volunteers and staff, providing ongoing feedback and regular appraisal. Identify and support training and development opportunities for assigned volunteers and staff.

  2. Oversee proper record keeping and reporting including: activities and events conducted, breakdowns of daily participation figures, notable achievements, and any problems/issues.

  3. Ensure productive and effective performance by all program staff and volunteers.

Marketing and Public Relations

  1. Increase visibility of Club programs via posting of daily schedule, announcements of upcoming events and the dissemination of timely information for the development of advertising and promotion through mailings, fliers and media releases.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. May oversee special programs and/or events (i.e. Keystone, Youth of the Year and Awards Programs), and/or participate in the implementation of other branch activities as necessary.

  2. May be required to drive Club van periodically.

  3. May consult with parents concerning member and branch issues. RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: Maintain close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain or interpret guidelines/instructions; instruct, and advise/counsel.

External: Maintain contact as needed with schools, member's parents, and others to assist in resolving problems.

Qualifications:

• At minimum enrolled in college working towards an AA or BA degree or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of two years work experience in a Boys or Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Overview and Responsibilities:**
The Art Director will work with Creative Directors, designers, and strategy partners to bring to life inspirational creative campaigns and will lead the creative through line of our campaigns by building out style guides and vision boards that communicate our 360-marketing campaigns. This role will be an executor landing vision for how the CBS brand and CBS Studios come to life across all creative marketing efforts. Showing mastery in the following key creative tools Adobe After Effects and/or Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. The Art Director will have a track record in developing breakthrough creative, as well as leading the creative expression of our marketing objectives through specific strategies and tactics.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Build multiple conceptual directions for large campaigns with the help of internal and external creative teams
+ Bringing vision to life through style guides, in-situ design iterations, strategic consumer journey presentations, mockups, and at times, final deliverables
+ Ensure that all assets meet a high-level of quality; aligned with the objectives of any given campaign strategy as well as the CBS brand mission/vision
+ Act as the point of contact for all key art requests from producing partners and all agency assets
+ Arrange meetings with agencies and internal partners
+ Work with 360 Creative Directors to proof of all final deliverables
+ Work with Legal, and the Asset Management and Acquisitions team to lead asset delivery to/from agencies (photography, templates, titles designs, logos, tune ins, etc) and to/from our DAM
+ Work with Finance, Brand, Media, and Campaign Managers on budgetary needs for creative and production timelines
+ Evolve the CBS brand and department culture by taking calculated creative risks, encouraging new and radical ideas, and producing groundbreaking creative for marketing
+ Work closely with internal partners to continually be a leader with innovative creative ideas
+ Collaborate effectively with other marketing team leaders, as well as other partners outside of marketing to develop creative ideas
+ Work collaboratively, opportunistically, and proactively across our Paramount sister brands, networks and platforms to support our marketing objectives
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ 6+ years of creative campaign development experience, primarily in entertainment
+ Experience leading creative and/or marketing budgets
+ Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Keynote, OneDrive, Frame.io, InDesign, Photoshop, Jira, and Widen is preferred
**Additional Qualifications:**
+ Highly creative with ability to concept and develop forward-thinking ideas for a wide range of entertainment marketing asset types
+ Strong understanding of traditional and digital entertainment marketing
+ Phenomenal teammate able to form relationships quickly with internal and external partners with a wide range of personality types
+ Experience producing and delivering a high volume of creative marketing assets, on time and on budget
+ A proven leader who motivates, encourages and drives dynamic creative thinking

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $110,000.00 - 150,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
