Ascension Wisconsin is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice Physician for our Koeller St Clinic, Oshkosh.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Wisconsin to provide medical services to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
  • Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.
  • Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
  • Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
  • Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

DaVita is hiring Patient Care Technicians to administer hemodialysis to our dialysis patients! Dialysis experience is not required; we spend the first 9-12 weeks of employment in classroom and hands-on training!

Must be comfortable working around blood and needles. Clinical ladders to advance your career and become a PCT II or PCT III. Bridge to Your Dreams program supports PCTs getting their RN license or ASN. Your success is driven by your performance and desire.

Schedule Qualifications to Become a PCT at DaVita:

  • Clinic operating hours range from 4:00AM 9:30PM, Monday - Saturday, closed Sundays
  • All clinicians must be flexible to work 3-4 shifts per week, rotating Saturdays
  • Schedules are made 3-4 weeks in advance, shifts are 10-12hrs

Requirements to Become a PCT:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited high school or GED program.
  • Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet so wear comfortable shoes! Our work ends when it's safe for our patients.
  • Health care experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.

Expectations of Working as a PCT at DaVita:

  • Direct Patient Care. 1:1 patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment. PCTs care for 4 patients at a time.
  • Technician Duties . Monitor patients before, during, after dialysis treatment. Measure and record stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
  • Continuous Improvement. Constantly look for ways to improve processes for patients and teammates, as we aim to build the greatest health care community the world has ever seen.
  • Building long-term relationships. ESRD patients require dialysis treatment on average 3 times/week. Educate patients on kidney disease.
  • Team. Work with technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers and leadership. PCTs work under the supervision of a RN.
