PrideStaff is recruiting for Assemblers for 1st and 2nd Shift for a well-established company located in Black Mountain . Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate semi-automatic and automatic winding machines, including bobbin winders to produce precision wind coils for use in components.
  • Read work orders and corresponding procedure prior to beginning any assembly job to ensure right parts are being used and right steps are being taken
  • Work with mechanical counters and make necessary adjustments
  • Utilize hand tools to trim wire and thread
  • Submit first set of coils from each new spool to Group Leader for electrical check
  • Work from moderately difficult charts and operation sheets
  • Perform work using 10x and 20x magnification
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to perform general math skills, including decimals and fractions
  • Good visual capability and strong attention to detail
  • Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time and perform close in precision work on small parts
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity in both hands
  • Ability to read and interpret operation sheets

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
  • Performs work manually or by using light hand tools.
  • Performs regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
  • Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required
  • Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools , as needed.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
