Key job responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Assembly Technician, you will be directly supporting our drone vehicle production assembly process to identify and communicate methods to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize the assembly process. In addition to product assembly support, the candidate will also be cross-trained in vehicle testing process for production support as needed.

Assembly support:
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
• Execute assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical parts using proper tools and techniques
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet deliverables relative to assigned drone assembly process(s).
• Work with production and the operations teams to help execute production readiness and testing responsibilities.

Assembly Technician

Mission of the Role

Processes Value Added orders using basic mechanical assembly and knowledge of Industrial Automation.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months to one year basic mechanical assembly experience required. Degree in Fluid Power or Robotics is preferred.

Key Assembly Technician Accountabilities

- Assembles product per Hartfiel Automation job folders, which may include, but not limited to, control panel assembly, valve stacking, fitting installation, reading and pulling orders, labeling product, and testing product.

- Performs final test of finished assemblies.

- Works with sales teams in the development of new products.

- Participates in continual process improvement.

- Responsible for the safe use of basic shop tools and equipment. Responsible to keep work area clean and orderly.

- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Follows all quality processes and procedures as established by Hartfiel Automation.

- Operates within the intended framework of Hartfiel Automation’s mission, values, and vision statements.

Overview

NW Service Enterprises, Inc. (NWS) Professional Assembly is seeking candidates for Assembly Technician , working on-site at local retail stores such as Lowes and Walmart assembling merchandise and displays. You will assemble various products, including barbecues, bikes, wheelbarrows, lawn tractors, work benches, and furniture. Available work can fluctuate seasonally, with spikes in the Spring through Summer and during the Holidays. This is a Part-time position with a Day-Shift schedule.

We're seeking individuals with experience in 12v electrical systems, pneumatics, water plumbing, hydraulics, and general mechanical skills (such as working on cars/engines, operating standard tools, troubleshooting, etc.). Skills in 12v wiring are preferred; hydraulics experience is a bonus but not required.
