BlueHalo, an AV Company, is seeking a NAVWAR Assessment Specialist in support of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract. You will be a part of our team’s efforts to empower the Department of Defense’s navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission ensuring positioning, navigation and timing superiority. Our mission is to provide combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR Order of Battle and PNT-related successes and threats.
More About the Role:
- You will work with simulations that shall include technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations, and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools.
- You will conduct M&S activities in support of the analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments conducted by the Government.
- You will provide instruction, supervision and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises.
- You may support live, constructive, or virtual training.
- Your simulation shall include technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations, and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools.
- You will utilize RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas.
- You will exhibit proficiency with some or all the following: GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Toolkit (STK), or other modeling and simulation programs.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- 7 years related experience (2TS).
- US Citizen with a pathway to interim Secret clearance.
- A bachelor’s degree in modeling and simulation, computer science, math, or a related field.
- Relevant M&S experience.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Apprentice Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP) or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
Salary Range: 70K-97K

- Respond to 100% of crisis calls onsite within 60 minutes.
- Complete psychiatric assessments and link clients to appropriate care.
- Conduct mental health evaluations including risk assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create treatment plans.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
- Refer clients to external resources as needed.
- Participate in trainings and maintain clinical knowledge.
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related human services field (required).
- QMHP credential (required).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in psychiatric or crisis settings preferred.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Demonstrates an active concern for all customers (both external and internal) of the hospital.

+ RN's Only - Performs medical screenings on all patients entering admission department.
+ Performs Behavioral Assessments either face to face or via telemedicine and ongoing re-assessments based on departmental specific policies and procedures. Determines Level of Care based on face to face or telemedicine assessment completed and physician consult.
+ Provides a thorough clinical review and risk assessment with appropriate level of care determination.
+ Performs requirements of any standardized procedure for which the employee has obtained and maintained competence including MPA.
+ Performs psychiatric and ongoing re-assessments based on departmental specific policies and procedures.
+ Responds within established timeframe to requests for onsite and telemedicine evaluations
+ Demonstrates flexibility and supports changes that improve quality of care, service and operations
+ Demonstrates attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy of daily work. Completes high quality work in accordance with outlined standards and procedures within defined timeframes.
+ Assures and maintains patient safety during the assessment process through the use of proper CPI techniques.
+ Promotes compliance with National safety goals
+ Demonstrates working knowledge of available community resources. Develops and maintains a positive relationship with community-based providers.
+ Demonstrates ability to access age specific data.
+ Demonstrates the ability to integrate age specific factors into the plan of care and involves the patient and family in the care plan process as appropriate to age
+ Demonstrates competency in interpretation of patient's self-reported status or behavior related to the age and clinical status of the patient.
+ Understands the cognitive, physiologic, psychological and growth and maturational development of the patient as it relates to his/her age
+ Sets priorities and demonstrates effective organization skills by optimizing use of time, meeting deadlines and completing assigned tasks in a cost effective manner.
+ Actively participates in department performance improvement process
+ Demonstrates knowledge and competence with the electronic medical record program.
+ Completes Occurrence Reports and all medical record and departmental documentation ensuring all are completed correctly and appropriately.
+ Verify insurance benefits via passport or registration assistance and determines pre-certification status.
+ Works to ensure that patient treatment is reimbursed by contacting managed care organizations and completing initial utilization review. Documents in Midas as required. Involves mobile crisis when necessary
+ Appropriately manage needs of patient while in the admission area including arranging nutrition, toileting, use of telephone, etc.
+ Ensures that all necessary admission paperwork is complete and signatures have been obtained.
+ Helps to maintain QA log by thoroughly and accurately documenting all patient and disposition information.
+ Demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA and abides by all EMTALA guidelines.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ R.N. with minimum of 3 years experience in Psychiatry, ER, or ICU (Board Certified Psych Certification with in 180 days) or Mental Health Professional with current TN license or (License eligible within 180 days) in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related mental health field required (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADAC)
+ Previous experience in Needs Assessment and Utilization Management strongly preferred.
+ Familiarity with required DSM V-R diagnosis
+ Possesses knowledge of medical model, psychotropic medications, familiarity with full range of treatment options and mental health service delivery systems
+ Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to advocate for patients in regard to managed care organizations
+ Conducts utilization review for managed care cases in admissions/intake department
+ Willingness to support philosophy of Skyline Madison campus
+ Successful completion of CPI within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
+ BLS required every 2 years
