Job Description
The role is visible within the organization and requires working cross functionally in areas including: Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance as well as various external pricing vendors and other parties that provide services to the Funds.
**Job responsibilities**
+ Daily / Monthly Oversight - execute risk-based oversight model that addresses daily risk all aspects of valuation including: trade back-testing, price fluctuations and comparisons, market events impacting valuation, oversight of pricing vendors and service providers, engagement with relevant stakeholders and global counterparts and management reporting.
+ Management Reporting - prepare and review of required reporting to senior management, valuation committee, boards of trustees that highlight metrics on oversight results and analysis, regulatory requirements, escalation items and other relevant topics.
+ Financial reporting and disclosure controls - prepare all valuation-related financial statement disclosures and regulatory filings; coordination of all audit efforts with service providers and external auditors.
+ New products/change to existing products - evaluating valuation-related aspects of proposals, review of pricing vendor capabilities and assessment of valuation risk.
+ Valuation-related initiatives - leading/participating in various valuation-related initiatives.
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ College degree in finance, economics or related field with at least 3+ years' experience in the investment management industry.
+ Knowledge and experience of valuation methodologies and techniques across various asset classes (e.g., fixed income, alternatives and equities) and complex instrument types (e.g., derivatives and structured products).
+ Technical and business knowledge of various Fund structures (e.g., mutual collective investment and hedge funds) and activities from an investment, operational, regulatory, accounting and financial reporting perspective.
+ Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate issues, propose and implement solutions, with consideration for all downstream implications.
+ Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional team.
+ Demonstrated thought leadership and the ability to influence and achieve results. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner in any format.
+ Proactive attitude, commitment to continuous learning, willing to challenge the status quo to improve processes and flexibility, strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Description
Our Real Estate Valuation and Advisory Services (REVS) team is recruiting for a new Financial Analyst. We have availability in our Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and New York offices. As a Financial Analyst, you will review and analyze complex real estate models, conduct market and financial research regarding real estate supply, demand, pricing and investment parameters; including in-market interviews, data gathering and confirmation of comparable transactions as well as utilizing data subscription sources. The Financial Analyst will work with other Analysts, Associates, and Officers to execute valuation advisory work, often in connection with high profile real estate transactions. You will work with many leading REITs, real estate private equity firms, and real estate operators, analyzing and valuing their investments for a variety of purposes.
The Financial Analyst will work with a highly talented and dedicated staff of professionals who will give broad exposure to the many different issues and concerns affecting real estate businesses and investors today. Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Work alongside Analysts, Associates, and Officers valuing commercial real estate investments across various asset classes (multifamily, retail, industrial, hospitality, and more).
- Be actively involved in various client engagements, including valuation and advisory work related to investor and financial reporting, due diligence, and transaction opinions.
- Collect, manipulate, and analyze property, market and financial data.
- Acquire knowledge of the use and capabilities of subscription data sources and software, including Costar, REIS, Green Street, Real Capital Analytics, Marshall Valuation Services, ARGUS, etc.
- Analyze historic property operating statements and analyze leases.
- Assist Associates and Officers in the preparation of complex cash flow models using Excel and/or ARGUS software, including analyzing available data to estimate revenues, costs, and rates of return.
- Estimate value of real estate investments at various levels of the capital stack, including asset-level valuations, equity valuations, preferred equity valuations, and debt valuations.
- Prepare reports and presentations to team and clients, including graphic and written sections.
- Assist in marketing pitches, real estate thought leadership articles, and other ad-hoc duties.
- 1-3 years of real estate industry experience, with a preference towards direct real estate valuation experience demonstrating analytical capabilities.
- A strong interest in real estate advisory work (ie, valuation consulting).

- Experience in ARGUS is strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Possession of or progress towards real estate industry certification licenses, such as MAI, CCIM, certified general real estate appraiser

Our Real Estate Valuation and Advisory Services (REVS) team is recruiting for a new Financial Analyst. We have availability in our Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and New York offices. As a Financial Analyst, you will review and analyze complex real estate models, conduct market and financial research regarding real estate supply, demand, pricing and investment parameters; including in-market interviews, data gathering and confirmation of comparable transactions as well as utilizing data subscription sources. The Financial Analyst will work with other Analysts, Associates, and Officers to execute valuation advisory work, often in connection with high profile real estate transactions. **Job Description Summary**
The Capital Markets Financial Analysis ("CMFA") Hub Manager is a CMFA subject matter expert responsible for the day-to-day management of the CMFA Hub's delivery of financial analysis on behalf of Cushman & Wakefield's Investment Sales brokerage services including industrial, retail, and office property types. In this role, the CMFA Hub Manager provides oversight on the execution of financial analysis requests by providing direction, conducting quality control reviews, and lending subject matter expertise. The CMFA Hub Manager provides oversight on team member development and performance, ensuring alignment on service delivery expectations. The CMFA Hub Manager serves as a key contributor to the CMFA Hub's maturity with involvement in training and onboarding activities, implementing standardized workflow processes, implementing best practices, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities to ensure sustained delivery of high-quality, efficient services to Cushman & Wakefield's brokers.

**Essential Duties**
+ Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to broker/broker teams based on analysis findings; refine analyses by providing subject matter expertise on market, property, or commercial real estate conditions and trends in effort to equip brokers with value-add insights and high-quality analysis deliverables, contributing to driving successful transaction completion
+ Collaborate with broker and leadership stakeholders, and other support teams, to ensure the CMFA Hub delivers an exceptional broker experience, balances team member workloads, and effectively collaborates with all business partners in service delivery, ensuring satisfactory broker experience ratings
+ Monitors, tracks, and observes process and production behaviors, identifying opportunities where additional training support may be required and/or delivers insights/solutions to resolve productivity issues
+ Implements effective delegation best practices, balancing involvement into the transactional analysis and due diligence aspects of team assignments
+ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CMFA Hub including supervisionof direct reports and quality review of analyses, deadlines, and resolution of issues/conflicts
+ Performs quality control reviews, identifying where the team's strengths are and areas where additional training may be required. Communicates review feedback in a timely manner and identifies recurring themes observed to action into individual and/or team training and development opportunities.
+ Monitor CMFA Hub and Analyst performance to identify opportunities for process/deliverable improvement and continued development
+ Lead, coach, train, and develop CMFA Hub Analysts, including completion of performance evaluations
+ Develop and deliver Analyst training materialsto standardize onboarding and support continued development, equipping Analysts with relevant resource tools
+ Spearhead the creation of standardized, best practice workflow processesand guidelines across the CMFA Hub that create efficiencies and add value to the broker experience; collaborate with broker Teams to understand current state processes and opportunities for standardization, taking ownership to action next steps
+ Collaborate with technology partners to identify, implement, and maintain automation/data analysis solutions to support CMFA Huboperations (e.g.,Salesforce, Argus, SharePoint,PowerBI,etc.)
+ Actively participates in business intelligence reporting and maintenance, ensuring workflow pipeline is accurate, complete, and kept current. Ensures reporting data and analytics are accurate and complete.
+ Support business development activities to encourage useof the CMFA Hub within assigned marketsand/or product group(s)
+ Champions the adoption of the CMFAHub, pitching value proposition and benefits to Capital Markets brokers while identifying opportunities where the CMFA Hub can expand its scope of services. Develops and maintains productive broker and market leadership relationships.

**Other Requirements & Administrative Duties**
+ Bachelor's Degree (Business, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting,Economics, etc.) strongly preferred, Masters, MBA

+ 7+years of financial analysis and underwritingmodeling experience (3+ in Commercial Real Estate required)
+ Previous Capital Markets and/or brokerage team experience is preferred (broker license is not required for role)
+ Prior management oversight with direct reports is a plus
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

+ Develop and deliver Analyst training materialsto standardize onboarding and support continued development, equipping Analysts with relevant resource tools
+ Spearhead the creation of standardized, best practice workflow processesand guidelines across the CMFA Hub that create efficiencies and add value to the broker experience; collaborate with broker Teams to understand current state processes and opportunities for standardization, taking ownership to action next steps
+ Collaborate with technology partners to identify, implement, and maintain automation/data analysis solutions to support CMFA Huboperations (e.g.,Salesforce, Argus, SharePoint,PowerBI,etc.)
+ Actively participates in business intelligence reporting and maintenance, ensuring workflow pipeline is accurate, complete, and kept current. Ensures reporting data and analytics are accurate and complete.
