Job Description
A large software and gaming company is looking for a REMOTE Assistant Editor to join a growing team. This person will be responsible for the versioning of video marketing assets from one final English source file to hundreds of localized exports, platform-specific cuts, and resized social formats. They will focus on accurate and timely delivery across various product lines. This person
will be responsible for the archival of video marketing assets. Looking for individuals who excel in organization, have exceptional communication abilities, and who are comfortable managing complex projects in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about working in technology and have a history of working within marketing environments.
In this role you will
● Create localized deliverables for video marketing assets.
○ This may include the use of After Effects for the creation of localized Motion Graphic elements
● Ensure all assets have gone through appropriate quality control checks.
○ Review exports for technical accuracy, including frame rates and audio levels.
● Organize and Archive video marketing assets and Premiere projects from active working server to iconik.
● Recognize and resolve problems and pivots inhibiting successful project outcomes either by working directly with team and stakeholders, or if unresolvable at that level, by escalating to your lead.

Job Description
The Finishing Assistant Editor works to ensure the post production flow is streamlined for greatest efficiency. This includes preparing projects for finishing, converting promos for distribution on various platforms requiring alternate aspect ratios. This is our first line of quality assurance when evaluating aesthetic and technical quality for assets representing multiple Disney Television networks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Review, relink and QC finishing packages to ensure all media components & finishing elements have been delivered with required technical specifications.
+ Prepare NLE sequences submitted by various offline teams for finishing and final graphic/VFX integration.
+ Convert finished sequences for repurposing by changing key day/date graphics appropriately, complete Audio Layback process for Master Delivery, and export completed sequences.
+ Color grade and/or apply LUTs to NLE sequences submitted by various offline teams.
+ Produce and edit reformatted end credits & full screen logo spots, as needed.
+ Perform closed caption fixes and basic technical edits and adjustments as needed.
**Basic Requirements**
+ 2+ years' experience in marketing, content post production or related field.
+ Expert level proficiency required with technical specifications currently being used for television broadcast, cable distribution, OTT distribution and various social media platforms.
+ High level proficiency required with Adobe Premiere Pro & Media Encoder.
+ Must be proficient in color grading using Adobe Premiere Pro (Lumetri).
+ Must possess professional experience using Premiere Pro Essential Sound & Graphics panels.
+ Strong familiarity with industry standard file types (MOV, MP4, JPEG, AIFF, WAV etc.).
+ Must possess deep knowledge of aspect ratios, frame rates, codecs and other video specifications.
+ Must be familiar with AirTable, Slack, Box and Adobe Experience Manager.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $71,000 to $95,100 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. Robert Half is partnering with a leading global entertainment and media company to recruit a Digital Content Editor to oversee editorial operations for a new consumer-facing digital platform. This site will highlight news, features, and guides to help audiences discover what to watch, supported by engaging multimedia content and global publishing initiatives.
Duration: 6-month contract
Location: New York, NY (onsite 4 days per week, WFH Fridays)
Pay: $47-50/hr
Hours: 40 hours/week
Role Overview
The Digital Content Editor will own the editorial calendar, lead content planning, and ensure timely publishing across multiple markets and languages. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, engaging, and data-driven content aligned with marketing and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
+ Drive the editorial calendar, coordinating global coverage and campaign priorities.
+ Collaborate with content strategists, copywriters, designers, and external agencies to produce articles, guides, and features.
+ Partner with PR and Communications teams to publish real-time updates and special event coverage.
+ Oversee editorial QA processes to uphold brand, tone, and visual standards.
+ Manage workflows for article syndication, editing, and stakeholder feedback.
+ Work with SEO specialists to implement keyword strategies and optimize editorial content.
+ Support editorial graphics and UX in partnership with design teams.
+ Lead proofreading, editing distribution, and publishing across multiple contributors.
+ Provide strategic insights and reporting on content performance and engagement.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ 5-7 years of editorial management experience for global web or digital media platforms.
+ Strong background in digital publishing, editorial planning, and content operations.
+ Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with expert attention to detail.
+ Demonstrated experience collaborating with marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams.
+ Familiarity with enterprise SEO tools and multilingual publishing standards.
+ Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple markets and stakeholders.
+ Strategic thinker comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
+ Experience with creative asset management systems and editorial workflows.
+ Passion for the entertainment industry and digital media.

+ Experience managing teams of writers and freelancers.
+ Strong presentation and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
+ Knowledge of global publishing style guides and content localization.
