Our leading client is looking to hire a dynamic ETL developer to join their enterprise data team.
**MUST HAVE SKILLS**
- 3+ years of proven experience with IBM DataStage
- Experience working with both server and parallel jobs within DataStage
- Strong SQL skills and experience with AQT
**NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:**
- Experience with Business Objects
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

_Rate: $45-$5/ hr. w2_
**Responsibilities:**
+ Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into target systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes).
+ Help implement new projects and maintain effective awareness of all production activities according to required standards and provide support to all existing applications.
+ Maintain documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
+ Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
+ Perform root cause analysis to help resolve production issues.
+ Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
+ Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
**Experience Requirements:**
+ 3+ years of proven experience with IBM DataStage.
+ Experience working with both server and parallel jobs within DataStage.
+ Strong SQL skills and experience with AQT.
+ Experience with scripting languages like Python or Shell for automation and data manipulation.
+ Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration best practices.
+ Strong proficiency with database technologies such as Oracle, DB2, SQL, and variation among popular databases.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ **Preferred Qualifications** : Experience with Business Objects. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. General knowledge in the Wealth and Asset Management industry.
