+ Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards
+ Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports

**Qualifications**
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ Bachelor Degree in Cyber Security.
+ Ability to follow high-level technical instructions to execute test procedures
+ Ability to perform basic troubleshooting steps on Linux-based and Windows-based systems
+ Basic working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, VMware ESXi.
+ Basic working knowledge of firewalls and networking
+ Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
+ U.S. Citizen.
+ Active Security + certification
+ Active Network + certification
+ Active SSCP Associate certification
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, and/or "on call" support
+ Ability to travel up to 25% (Deployments 10 weeks per year)
+ Experience applying and reviewing STIG settings and remediating ACAS scan findings for RHEL, Windows Server, and VMware ESXi.
**Additonal desired experience and skills:**
+ Active DoD Security clearance
+ DoD 8570 IAM level II, or level III, security certification (examples: CAP, CASP CE, CISM, GSLC, CISSP Associate, Security+ or CISSP)
+ Advanced working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, VMware ESXi
+ Advanced Working knowledge of firewalls and networking
+ Experience configuring, running, and evaluating ACAS scans and managing the ACAS server including managing users, policies, plugins, and scanners
+ Experience with scripting/task automation: bash shell, bourne shell, Powershell
+ Familiarity with environmental monitoring tools (ESS/Solar Winds/Splunk/Nessus)
+ 2+ years of experience applying STIG settings and remediating ACAS scan findings for Windows, network devices, and VMware products
+ Experience with configuration management tools: Git
+ Experience with Agile development tools (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc)
