Our multi-jurisdictional law firm is seeking to hire Georgia Associates with experience in civil litigation on behalf of National Banks and financial institutions. We handle all phases of litigation including suit preparation, default filings, and judgment execution on behalf of large institutional clients. Ideal candidates should be self-starters with a strong understanding of Georgia civil procedure and Georgia court systems. Candidates should be comfortable working as part of a team in a high-volume setting and able to work with software to manage caseload.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Reviewing evidence pertaining to loan contracts, invoices, financial statements, and evidence
2. Process incoming and outgoing legal communications to courts, counsel, or defendants
3. Update cases in our software system, following firm policies and procedures
4. Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve resolution of cases where possible.
5. Process incoming and outgoing legal documents and communications to andd from parties
6. Work with operations to keep cases moving through courts
7. Attend hearings via zoom or in-person when necessary
