Job Summary:
Provides mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment and crisis intervention services for adult and/or child members who present themselves from psychiatric evaluation with a broad range of mental health needs. Collaborates with treating physician, psychiatric and allied health professional team to plan and direct each individual members treatment program.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs for the diagnosis, treatment, and/or referral of Health Plan members with acute or chronic mental illness. Participates in staff conferences to select, plan, and evaluate treatment programs. Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups. Instructs and counsels patients and their families regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and adherence to prescribed medication regimens, within the scope of practice. May administer specialized therapeutic procedures, as appropriate. Provides appropriate support to members family. May develop and conducts psychoeducational classes and groups.
- May conduct psychological assessments, including test administration, interpretation, and recommendations. Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries and maintains ongoing confidential records. Charts members treatment and progress in accord with state and NCQA regulations and in keeping with accepted community standards. May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation.
- Collaborates with physicians in screening and evaluating patients for psychotropic medications, within the scope of practice. Utilizes resources of public and private agencies and community organizations to meet the needs of the members treatment. May develop, implements, and evaluates behavioral medicine and health psychology programs in a variety of settings, including primary care. Provides consultation to other care providers and health educators on matters relating to mental health, health psychology and behavioral medicine. Provides clinical supervision to psychology doctoral interns, psychology postdoctoral residents, and other mental health trainees/fellows as necessary.
- May supervise Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors as needed if supervision course is completed.
- May provide appropriate support to members family, including explanation of treatment, instructions in how to support treatment and interventions to increase acceptance of and adherence to treatment, at members request.
- Utilizes resources of public and private agencies and community organizations to meet the needs of the members treatment to include referral of the member and/or members family to external resources, as appropriate. Participates in departmental program development, implementation and evaluation.
- Reports safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies

**We are seeking candidates with experience in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) (i.e., formal training or willingness to achieve reliability on all ADOS Modules) to provide services in the MetroHealth Autism and Neurobehavior Clinic.** The MAAC Clinic is an interdisciplinary clinic providing high-quality, diagnostic and assessment services to individuals across the lifespan with suspected ASDs from diverse backgrounds. We are a dynamic and driven group of professionals devoted to serving the patients of Northern Ohio with cultural humility in a wellness focused manner. The primary responsibilities for this position will include provision of diagnostic assessment to adolescents and adults with suspected ASD, supervision of neurodevelopmental and pediatric neuropsychology residents and fellows, and participation in the academic medical education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Additional academic and clinical pursuits are available and may be pursued according to individual interest. Some possible opportunities include developing and implementing training opportunities for medical providers on caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, consultation with educational and vocational partners, engagement in clinical research activities in the field of developmental disabilities, and assisting in program develop for comprehensive transition services for individuals with developmental disabilities, outpatient programs for severe or intensive behaviors in patients with autism, and primary care models of autism screening and diagnosis.
Qualifications include the following: fluent English verbal communication skills, a Ph.D./Psy.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology graduate program with primary interest and background in clinical psychology, clinical internship in an APA accredited program, completion of a neuropsychological or clinical post-doctoral fellowship, and license eligibility in Ohio by start date. **We can provide additional training and supervision for candidates to achieve reliability on ADOS Modules; however, experience is with assessment of ASD is highly preferred.** This full-time faculty position will have a competitive salary for academic rank.

About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Menifee, CA
Details:
- In-Person Tutoring in Menifee, CA
- Schedule: Weekdays 3pm onwards
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Focus Area: ELA and Math
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum, ideally in early elementary settings
- Familiarity with IEP-driven instruction and ability to adapt lessons to meet specific goals
- Skilled in managing frustration and mild behavioral challenges through proactive strategies
- Creative and engaging teaching style, able to incorporate visual, auditory, and hands-on learning approaches
- Patient, consistent, and capable of building a strong rapport with neurodivergent learners
- Comfortable starting virtually, with flexibility to transition to in-person sessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Support foundational literacy (reading and basic writing) and early math skills
- Help develop expressive communication through casual conversation and targeted SEL strategies
- Incorporate short conversational breaks to build trust and encourage emotional expression
- Use positive reinforcement and simple reward systems to maintain motivation
- Adapt instruction to align with IEP goals and current therapy supports
- Engage student through interests to make learning enjoyable
