This position is a helper/assistant role, who will be expected to maintain, clean and organize shop spaces and follow directions from other techs in any task to keep the shop safe and clean. Receive, stock and track parts that are ordered. ?This role also collaborates to manage and maintain vehicle parts inventories. This individual must be willing to learn to perform basic preventative maintenance on all types of mountain fleet vehicles with guidance and direction of more skilled mechanics, training provided, experience not required. We are looking for an individual that has a mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow.

- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full-Time Summer seasonal, 7am-5pm, ten-hour shifts, with weekend shifts required.

**Job Responsibilities**
+ Maintain, clean, organize all shop spaces. Replace and refill inventory consumables.
+ Assist in managing and maintain fleet parts inventories, cleanliness and organization of that zone.
+ Clean and assist with vehicle cleanliness, and ensure the fleet has all safety supplies on board.
+ Demonstrate a commitment to safety by being an active participant in a safety oriented shop culture
+ Be able to jump in and assist all other team members with any task needed.
+ Perform or be willing to learn basic maintenance tasks on a variety of mountain fleet vehicles with guidance from all other mechanic technicians.
+ Communicate with both internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner
+ Ability to be part of a team oriented shop in a fast-paced work environment
+ Other duties as assigned
**Job Requirements**
+ Vehicle maintenance experience, or mechanical aptitude welcome, not required.
+ Must have a valid driver's license / clean DMV record

+ Responsible for detailing buses, and other transportation equipment, including pressurized washing, cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, shampooing, buffing, window washing, deodorizing, spot clean-up, resurfacing of finish materials etc.
+ Servicing of small engines/snow blowers fluid changes, replacements of belts, spark plugs, sheer pins, drive wheels, tracks, augurs.
+ Cleaning of carburetors, jets, fuels, applicable additives and replacement of any other components, maintenance or servicing necessary for optimum functionality along with operational checks there of required.
+ May perform routine vehicle safety/maintenance checks and some routine maintenance, such as paint touch-up, fuse and bulb replacement, and tire mounting/balancing, filling of tires to proper air pressure, rotation/torque of wheels, lubrication and top off of fluids, including parts pick-up/delivery.
