The role you will contribute:

The Revenue Cycle Automation Developer provides analytical and robotic process automation (Automation) development expertise that will help drive the progress of all Revenue Cycle Automation initiatives. The role will collaborate extensively with peer Automation Developers, Revenue Cycle leaders across the front, middle and back Revenue Cycle, as well as IT teams to provide automation solutions that are aimed to increase revenue, reduce cost, improve accuracy, and improve operational productivity. Under supervision of the Revenue Cycle Automation Senior Manager, the Revenue Cycle Automation Developer will play a principal role in developing and implementing automations. The role involves collaboration with other Process Improvement and Business Support functional areas, including the Revenue Cycle and System SMEs team to justify and prioritize Automation projects; the Quality Audit, Training, and Education team to implement automations with workflows and train citizen developers; the Analytics team to track usage and financial impact of automation implementations. The Automation Developer will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to AHS Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.

  • Designs and develops complex multi-system and robotic process automations independently and collaboratively with Automation Developer peers

Resolve and debug automation issues as they arise. Socialize findings with the Revenue Cycle and System SMEs team to help support the respective business case.
  • Maintains flexibility by coordinating with key stakeholders to address all product development challenges (may include project management, product/software design and development, user experience design, and business process management (BPM) strategies)
  • Provides technical guidance to resources with varying IT experience; participates in design discussions, drives technical Automation integration decisions across corporate and facility based Revenue Cycle teams
  • Supports Senior Manager in providing leading practice recommendations for creating and deploying citizen-led Automations into the Enterprise production environment
  • Collaborates with Corporate IT Automation team to align governance around Revenue Cycle Automation bot support and maintenance
  • Manages and supports the repository of AdventHealth Revenue Cycle Automation bots available to end users for self-service development. Assists with debugging and updating bots and components for use across the organization
  • Participates in process reviews to ensure the highest level of process understanding prior to automation and builds the Solution Design Document (SDD) as well as other relevant technical specifications as directed by the team leadership
  • Assesses automation opportunities from a technical feasibility perspective and aids Revenue Cycle and System SMEs to prioritize proposed solutions. Actively assists with both high-level and detailed build and implementation timing estimates based on complexity of solution for key Automation business proposals

Education:

Job Title: Cloud Automation Engineer (AWS / NERC CIP)

Type: Long-Term Contract
Location: Remote (US-based)

About the Project

Join our Metering and PI (Process Information) team to help build an automation platform for PI in AWS . This is a strategic, long-term project that combines cloud automation, compliance, and infrastructure modernization . You'll play a critical role in shaping the next generation of metering and PI solutions in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for PI in AWS.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (Enterprise preferred), Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Build and support CI/CD pipelines for scalable and reliable deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards across environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate monitoring, security, and automation best practices.
  • Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts across .NET and MS platforms .
Must-Have Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Proven expertise in automation & IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • NERC CIP certification or equivalent compliance experience
  • Solid software development background with MS.NET (WinForms, C#, WebForms, Web Services, .NET Core, SQL Server 2019+)
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap, JQuery, JSON, MVC
  • Proficiency with GitHub and DevOps pipeline tools
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with PI (Process Information) systems (a rare but highly valued skill)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace or Datadog
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a development or cloud engineering role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a remote, collaborative team environment

Talent Navigation Experts is partnering with our client in Lakewood, Colorado to help them locate a Test Automation Developer that will provide support in the development and maintenance of automation needs across their applications products, projects, and services.

The Test Automation Developer works closely with developers, system engineers/admins, DBA's, and other QA groups to improve the continuous integration and delivery processes.

This is a key part of one of their Software Delivery Teams.

Day to Day:
  • Test complex API software from analysis to implementation.
  • Design, automate, and maintain test scripts. Also, do maintenance and debugging of existing scripts.
  • Help drive Behavior Driven Development (BDD); use BDD to reconcile the business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Teams and Testing groups.
  • Ensure best practices and standards are followed.
  • Create and maintain proper documentation.
Needed:
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years experience. 5 years post high school education without a bachelor's may be considered.
  • Experience with some, but not all of the following in testing: Functional, System, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, Negative, Smoke.
  • Experience with scripting languages using Java, C#, VBScript, or other OO development languages.
  • Experience testing and automating REST and/or SOAP Services.
  • Unified Functional Tester (UFT), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), or other related testing tools is a plus.
  • Experience with source repositories, such as GitHub is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL and general knowledge of RDBMS concepts is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the differences between GUI and API testing.
