We are seeking an Audio-Visual (AV) Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will possess strong troubleshooting skills across AV systems, including conference room collaboration tools, and demonstrate proficiency with device management platforms, Microsoft Windows PCs, Apple devices, and software collaboration tools.
In this role, you will work directly with business leaders and Senior Management Committee (SMC) members to provide high-level technical support. Success in this position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work collaboratively, sound decision-making under pressure, and effective escalation and delegation when necessary. You will also support executive administrators with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
Primary AV technical support specialist for meetings and events hosted by business leaders and senior management based in the Fort Wayne location.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to conference room AV systems. This includes opening service tickets with AV vendors and coordinating repairs and system testing.
Lead the planning, direction, and execution of AV event setups, including room configuration for onsite and offsite meetings.
Prepare and test AV systems, computers, and multimedia content in advance of executive events.
Provide training and support to presenters on the proper use of microphones, cameras, and content-sharing tools.
Monitor and manage AV systems during live events to ensure seamless execution for business and executive leadership.
Travel to offsite locations as needed to support key leadership events such as CEO Town Halls, SMC gatherings, and business leadership meetings.
Conduct bi-weekly testing of platforms and conference room systems to ensure operational readiness. Submit and track service tickets with vendors for timely resolution of issues.
Support the delivery of webcast events using platforms such as VBrick and Zoom.
Develop and maintain AV operational documentation, including procedures for production, disaster recovery, and system availability. Design and implement automation solutions for AV asset management and system optimization.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience providing technical AV support within an enterprise IT environment, specifically for senior executives and business leaders.

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with **anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range** and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. **Job Summary:**
The Equipment Maintenance Specialist ensures the reliable operation of production equipment used in brazing, plating, sputtering, and inspection processes at STC Material Solutions. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, reverse engineering when needed, and coordination with vendors. It is key to minimizing downtime and supporting quality and delivery.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical equipment related to clean-room, thermal processing, plating, deposition, and inspection systems-including hydrogen and vacuum furnaces, sputtering systems, gold/nickel plating lines, vacuum leak testers, XRF, profilometers, and drying ovens.
+ Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment issues that affect production output, process consistency, or product quality.
+ Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules and work instructions to ensure reliable equipment operation.
+ Manage and maintain maintenance documentation for all production and process equipment.
+ Maintain/upgrade/create and regularly update a centralized database of equipment conditions, service history, and maintenance activities.
+ Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to align equipment performance with process requirements.
+ When necessary, reverse engineer mechanical, electrical, or control systems to restore or improve function.
+ Interface with equipment vendors and external service providers for repair, parts sourcing, and technical consultation.
+ Travel on occasion to evaluate new or used equipment for suitability to IJ Research processes (e.g., brazing, sputtering, plating, etc.).

Conditions**
Work is normally performed on site at STC's campus in Santa Ana, California. Office work is performed in a climate-controlled environment, but substantial time is required on the manufacturing shop floor, which can be noisy and dusty, and is not climate controlled in the summer season. Proper safety equipment is provided by STC where necessary.
**Physical Demands:**
Work may involve standing and walking for moderate to lengthy periods of time, with some duties performed from a seated position. There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed materials and computer screen. Deadlines, workloads during peak periods, and changing priorities may cause increased stress levels. We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, service, and repairs of a complex nature on assigned equipment or systems. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment, including welders, sewing machines, presses, and CNCs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Facilitate and accurately follow detailed operational instructions and blueprints for jobs and setup operations while conducting maintenance activities.
+ Administer the preventive maintenance system and provide required reports as specified in the CMMS.
+ Determine preventative maintenance requirements for new equipment and train equipment operators to perform routine maintenance.
+ Maintain a safe and effective work area/environment using appropriate personal protective and safety equipment.
+ Support the Facilities Function as needed.
+ Perform complex skilled work across multiple functions and operations of the preventive maintenance system.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming.
+ Strong skills in pneumatic systems and mechanical repair.
+ Competence in electrical troubleshooting and hydraulic systems.
+ Experience with manufacturing automation.
+ Advanced knowledge of electromechanical and mechanical components and equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma required.
+ 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial background.
+ Ability to read and communicate in English.
+ Capability to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
+ Familiarity with reading and interpreting documents, schematics, and blueprints.
+ Experience in operating forklifts and other powered equipment.
+ Experience in working within a team environment and adaptability to changes in work requirements.
+ Excellent customer service skills.
+ Bachelor's degree required if intending to move into leadership roles.

**Work Environment**
This role operates on a first shift, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with optional overtime up to 10% per year based on production needs. The work environment is a manufacturing setting that can occasionally be loud, requiring safety glasses and steel toe shoes (provided on the first day). The assignment is a 90-working day temp-to-hire position, approximately 4-5 months, where attendance and tenure are highly valued.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00/hr.
