WSP is seeking a seasoned Senior Structural Aviation Engineer to lead and support the design, and construction of aviation facilities and infrastructure across the U.S. This role blends deep structural engineering expertise with aviation sector experience, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of airport development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, proven leadership in complex aviation projects, and a passion for mentoring and innovation. Responsibilities include the research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of load-bearing structures or structural elements, such as terminals, concourses, hangars, and select aviation facilities. Provides situational guidance to PMs and managers that address current and future challenges, and that documentation and recommendations accurately account for and address risk, innovation, and future-ready opportunities. Your Impact
+ Serve as Technical lead on aviation terminal, concourse, and hangar projects.

+ Apply high-level structural engineering techniques and processes to identify improvements for various aviation project phases including concept development, preliminary design, final design, procurement, construction, and operation.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, airport authorities, and stakeholders to deliver future-ready solutions.
+ Apply advanced structural engineering techniques to airside and landside infrastructure, including mass timber, seismic design, and sustainable systems.

Who You Are
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
+ PE license (multi-state preferred).
+ 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with significant aviation project involvement.
+ Demonstrated experience with terminal renovations, concourse expansions, and hangar design.
+ Proficiency in Revit, and structural analysis software (e.g., RAM, ETABS, RISA).
+ Strong understanding of FAA standards and airport design principles.
