We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team. The role focuses on performing classified heavy modifications on various fixed-wing military aircraft, including the C-130 and P-3 airframes. You will be responsible for removing existing systems, installing wire harnesses throughout the aircraft, and terminating various types of connectors.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform classified heavy modifications on fixed-wing military aircraft.
+ Remove existing systems and install wire harnesses throughout the aircraft.
+ Terminate dozens of different types of connectors.
+ Work primarily on C-130 and P-3 airframes.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4+ years' experience in avionics.
+ Experience terminating connectors.
+ Proficiency with several different types of crimpers (at least 3 or more).
+ Ownership of tools with shadowed toolbox and etched or colored tools by Day 1.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Installation experience is preferred.
+ Desire for a long-term opportunity and/or to build a career.
+ Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
+ FAA Drug Test compliance.

**Work Environment**
The position is based in a climate-controlled, FAA-regulated hangar. The work schedule is flexible, with shifts available from Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. The first shift runs from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, and the second shift from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. While most of the workforce operates on the first shift, flexibility to work on the second shift is required at times. Overtime opportunities are often available based on program needs, and the contract is long-term with the potential to transition to a direct hire.

This position is an indefinite contract with the potential to convert to a direct role. Candidates should have an avionics back ground with modification experience. While turbo prop experience is preferred, it is not required, and fixed wing experience is also favored over rotary wing experience. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary. All necessary tools will be provided.

We are seeking Avionics Technicians to support the phase maintenance and modification/installation program on UH-60 helicopters. This role involves performing glass cockpit and autopilot installations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform phase maintenance and modification/installation on UH-60 helicopters.
+ Conduct glass cockpit and autopilot installations.
+ Ensure all modifications and installations meet the required standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in avionics modification and installation.
+ Experience with rotary wing aircraft, specifically UH-60 helicopters.
+ Proficiency in radar, NAV, and COMM systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with other aircraft platforms will be considered if modification/installation skills are strong.
