Key Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for the maintenance and project support for the Baby Care Process and Engineering Research Lab. This role will include auditing, maintaining and preparing/updating the electronics and control systems for development equipment. We are looking for an individual who is inspired by hands-on experimentation and basic science/troubleshooting activities. This role will include day-to-day applied research including:
+ Utilizing electrical test equipment to diagnose high-speed assembled product electrical problems and analyze trends/technical data to gain insights on controls and proactively identify issues.
+ Performing preventative maintenance and upgrades to equipment, as well as modifying existing equipment/software to meet new testing requirements.
+ Maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed packing, process, and utilities power and controls equipment, while also troubleshooting, monitoring, and programming PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems, as well as variable frequency drives and servo control systems to ensure optimal performance.
The ideal candidate will enjoy helping others develop technical skills and possess a collaborative, inclusive work style, backed by a solid foundation in math and science for following detailed instructions and making critical observations. Strong problem-solving abilities and manufacturing experience are essential. Proficiency in GMP, documentation, programming, and low voltage qualifications are important, as well as the ability to work effectively with project teams to set up and execute tests on PRL test stands, ensuring a clear understanding of testing objectives and equipment capabilities. Additionally, strong documentation and communication skills are required to follow good engineering practices and effectively document learnings for others to build upon.
Job Qualifications
Required:
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Proficiency in PLC programming, along with prior experience in the installation and operation of electrical hardware/software, including variable frequency drives (e.g., PowerFlex), servo drives, HMIs, process instrumentation, and machine control systems.
+ Understanding of safe work practices for electrical systems, including experience with power distribution systems (less than 600V).
+ Experience with electrical schematics, single-line drawings, and the ability to read and understand mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
+ Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products, including skills in Excel for data calculations and reporting.
+ Prior experience in manufacturing or lab environment.
+ Ability to work onsite five days a week (Mon-Fri) at our Winton Hill site.

Education and Experience:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate daily routines and activities for infants (0-18 months), focusing on sensory exploration, motor skill development, and language acquisition.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic environment at all times, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and record each infant's daily intake, sleep patterns, diaper changes, and developmental milestones.
- Provide responsive, nurturing care, attending to each infant's individual needs with sensitivity and warmth.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day, progress, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow caregivers to ensure consistency in care and programming.
- Manage classroom supplies and materials, ensuring availability and proper organization.
- Observe children's behavior and development, identifying any potential developmental delays or concerns and reporting them appropriately.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for infants to explore and learn.
- Participate in ongoing professional development training relevant to infant care and early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or an Associate's degree in a related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience caring for infants in a licensed childcare or daycare setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of infant development, health, and safety standards.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
- A patient, compassionate, and loving disposition towards young children.
- Excellent observational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and carry infants, bend, and spend extended periods on the floor.
- Familiarity with state childcare licensing regulations.
- Passion for providing exceptional care and contributing to the foundational development of infants.
