**Job Summary**
We are seeking a Site Manager- Baggage Handling, to join our growing Team here at Introba. The Site Manager- Baggage Handling, will be responsible for day-to-day management of onsite operations. The ideal person will exercise management principles to ensure profitability, control assets, and communicate company philosophy and objectives to contractors. This person will also need to provide timely reports to Field Operations Manager and Project Manager.
**Responsibilities & Qualifications**
**Responsibilities:**
+ Knowledge of baggage and material handling systems design, manufacture, installation, and testing preferred.
+ Ability to monitor construction projects to ensure procedures, materials, and equipment installation comply with approved project plans.
+ Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in oversight of material and baggage handling system installation.
+ Skill in examining, re-engineering operations; implementing new strategies and procedures.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
+ Knowledge of federal, state and local codes and regulations.
+ Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of material and baggage handling system expertise.
+ Effectively applies company methodology and enforces project standards.
+ Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
+ Mechanical and Electrical experience preferred.
+ Manages assigned project hours.
+ Tracks and reports hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
+ Assure time and expenses adhere to project budget.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Three years of baggage handling systems and/or airport ground systems experience.
+ Must be able to obtain an airport security badge Travel Frequency: 60% - 90%

**Job Summary**
Introba is seeking a Baggage Handling Project Designer to join our growing Team at Introba. The Baggage Handling Project Designer will be able to understand project scope, competency to understand mechanical designs and perform calculations for baggage handling and airport systems.
The ideal person will also be expected to coordinate design information between disciplines, demonstrate knowledge of building codes, engineering design software and proficient to advanced in Revit. This position will also be involved in development, design, execution of capital and maintenance projects along with supporting mechanical aspects of projects.
Producing proposals, reviewing conceptual designs, reporting and interfacing with our clients will add more excitement to the opportunity as well. Additional responsibilities include site surveys, design review and RFI and submittal review.
**Responsibilities & Qualifications**
**Responsibilities:**
+ Ability to provide technical direction to other engineering and technical staff applying standards, processes and techniques and suggest alternative solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, greater usability and longer life.
+ Ensures reviews and quality assurance procedures take place for all engagements and conducts comprehensive engineering planning, design, and operational studies.
+ Provides feedback to design engineers on mechanics and dynamics of conveyance components and performs design work including researching data and determining design criteria in accordance with required standards and codes for assigned projects.
+ Prepares project documents including calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules for assigned projects and inspects completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
+ Ensures reviews and quality assurance procedures take place for all engagements while tracking and identifying new opportunities to improve our methodology and training offerings.
+ Consistently delivers high quality services to our clients and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
+ Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in products of technical plans, drawings, relevant equipment, policies, procedures and regulations and possesses deep understanding and thorough knowledge of company capabilities, services, technical preferences and technical direction.
+ Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
+ Knowledge of civil, mechanical and/or other engineering principles and techniques related to assigned area.
+ Ability to apply sound engineering principles to both operational and design issues.
+ Ability to write specifications, prepare cost estimates, interpret national codes and standards, research related codes and standards to ensure compliance.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience
+ Revit knowledge required; AutoCAD strongly preferred
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

We are currently hiring for a Night Inspector/Construction Coordinator West Side Baggage to work with our team at he Tampa Airport.
Works in direct collaboration with the Project Manager for specific assigned duties required in the execution of the work and serves as a coordination resource to the project team
Monitors field activities of assigned subcontractors, reports on progress of the work for assigned contractors, and assists in identification and verification of any required remediation activities for non-conforming work
Assists with data recording through daily reports and job site photos, weekly and monthly status reports
Becomes familiar with all pertinent Contract documents as well as Project software and controls systems
Observes and monitors construction for conformance with the plans, specifications and industry practices
Maintains accurate records of the contractors performance and progress
Assists the PM/PE in verifying quantities of work performed and materials used, as backup for the progress payments
Monitors construction safety and notifies the Contractor's supervision and HCAA HSE of any observed unsafe practices or conditions. Keeps public safety in mind at all times.
Reviews look ahead schedules with Contractors staff (field and office), PM and others to determine upcoming work activities, testing/inspection requirements, equipment needs, coordination requirements, etc. prior to each OAC meeting. Briefs HCAA PM on these items.
Stays familiar with ongoing coordination efforts between projects in the vicinity, as well as tasks within the project limits as work areas shift and progress
Immediately notifies HCAA PM of any observed out of sequence activities, issues of concern, quality issues, etc. and provides recommendations for reconciliation and/or correction
Stays familiar with Airport Operations, necessary security protocols and Airport notification processes (i.e. SIRs, MCNs, NOTAMs, etc.) so that work can continue in a timely manner. Assists PM/PE as needed in these areas with particular attention to upcoming work efforts that require notifications.
Maintains a photo diary of work in progress and issues of concern that are observed. Provides copies to HCAA PM and/or Project Files on a weekly basis
Is available to work extended hours and weekends, as needed, with appropriate notification as work progresses and work schedules dictate
Provides open and honest communication to HCAA Staff and others as required, both oral and written, depending on the situation at hand. Works closely with PM/PE on dissemination of information.
Participates in necessary meetings with Contractor and HCAA staff as needed including OAC meetings, Safety Meetings, QA/QC Meetings, Pre-Activity Meetings, Follow-Up Inspections, etc.
Prior baggage project experience required
Proven ability to engage a wide variety of key field stakeholders for coordination purposes
Strong technical background in various disciplines associated with airport facilities
Willing and able to work on-site at the Tampa Airport Program Management office
