Industry Team Overview

Bain Capital Credit's US industry team covers over 16 sectors. Investment professionals apply their industry-specific knowledge and networks to identify and evaluate investment opportunities across the capital structure and for all Bain Capital Credit funds and accounts. Team members spend their time reviewing investment opportunities and selecting securities, conducting due diligence, preparing investment recommendations and monitoring the universe of names they follow. Industry team members interact regularly with the Credit Committee, Portfolio Management teams, and Trading Desk to communicate and refine their recommendations.

This individual will be based in our Boston or New York City office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fundamental company-specific research: visit company management, conduct original on-site research in the field (with customers, suppliers, etc.), and attend industry conferences
  • Perform industry-level analyses to inform the investment process and provide critical context
  • Build earnings models and perform valuation analysis
  • Make proactive buy/sell recommendations and effectively communicate your views with team members
  • Learn and adopt the firm's straightforward investment process, characterized by direct verbal communication and concise written investment summaries supported by in-depth data-driven analysis (i.e., quantitative models of market size/growth, competitive positioning, and financial statements/analysis valuation)
Qualifications
  • Strong academic credentials (BS/BA from highly-regarded institution) and a demonstrated track record of successful work experience
  • 2-4 years of post-undergrad business and/or investing experience with an investment management firm, investment banking, or venture capital/private equity firm
  • Experience analyzing and/or evaluating companies
  • A fundamental, analytically-driven approach to investing with strong analytical/modeling capability
  • Experience interacting with and assessing senior management teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team environments and strong relationship-building skills
  • Creative approach to due diligence
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to synthesize complicated analyses concisely and to articulate insightful conclusions compellingly. Open to spirited debate over ideas.


Compensation Information:
  • Expected Annual Base Salary 150,000 - 160,000
  • Actual base salary will be determined by several components including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
  • Additional compensation: In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team, and firm performance.

ROLE SUMMARY
The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing IT projects on a day-to-day basis using the Project Management Life Cycle process and deliverables.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform project management duties for complex IT projects, including those involving AI solutions, in accordance with PMLC and SDLC processes. These objectives include:
• Perform day-to-day management of all project phases to ensure deliverables are completed on time and budget. Coordinate all project activities with IT project team members and business owners/ stakeholders. Track performance against objectives and develop corrective strategies when objectives are not being met.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of project management experience for application and data integration projects.
• Detailed knowledge of project management and software development life cycle methodologies.
• Proven experience managing mid-sized to large IT integration projects - independently.
• Background in Commercial Insurance desired.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with an ability to effectively manage cross-functional team discussions.

  • Assist Board of Directors in developing strategic and operation plans by identifying short term and long term priorities.
  • Track KPIs and progress of strategic projects and present management reports to the board. Provide leadership to the team and encourage leadership based culture.
  • Preside over the meetings and agenda of the team as well as track projects and ongoing activities. Ensure appropriate communications and leverage resources within the team and with other teams. Qualifications and Requirements:

MBA with at least 8-10 years of professional experience in Management

Infosys Consulting is currently seeking a Principal Cloud Architect for their Technology Transformation practice.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in the management consulting industry. Candidate must be an experienced Cloud practitioner, with experience delivering IT and Cloud based strategies for clients across multiple Cloud solutions. Candidates must be comfortable working at all levels (team, stakeholder, and organizational leadership) to help the organization develop Cloud solutions to foster business values and to achieve organizational outcomes. Candidate must have evolved facilitation skills and be comfortable in mentoring, training and/or offering professional advisory services. This is a highly visible role with exposure to a wide range of stakeholders, which will require a combination of core technical skills and soft people skills to have success.

  • Possess a good understanding of the major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) for comparative analysis and advisory on CSP selection
  • Deep understanding of customers unique needs in any of the industries (Financial services, Health & life science, retail, manufacturing and SURE)
  • Provide expert guidance and insights of Industry cloud to support client in evolving cloud landscape in their organization
  • Provide guidance and support to leverage full potential of cloud services and best practices to migrate applications, modernize applications and innovate to meet based on organization and industry needs
  • Design art of the possible Cloud end state for an organization, conduct gap analysis between the target Cloud capabilities and traditional IT capabilities to define the Cloud adoption strategy and roadmap
  • Evaluation the implications of Cloud adoption on the IT Operating model and support establishing a Cloud center of excellence
  • Architect and deploy resilient, secure, and scalable cloud-based solutions tailored to the customer needs(multi-tenancy, Platform as a service, micro services, container services)
  • Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid Cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other Cloud services
  • Define and enforce Cloud solutions and architecture best practices & guiding principles
  • Define Cloud adoption and migration strategies and implementation plans
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customers to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Stay abreast of the latest cloud services (AWS / Azure / Google), features, and best practices to ensure customers benefit from their knowledge
  • Perform Proof of concepts to prove viability, scalability and feasibility of solutions to the customer business needs
  • Own and manage contributions to business development proposals and sales pursuits for consulting and/ or transformation engagements
  • Work as a member of a client engagement delivery team, typically split across multiple geographies and or industry domains, own and deliver high-quality outputs on time
  • Build, manage and sustain relationships with senior level client managers
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by creating consulting go-to-market offerings and uplift Infosys brand by publishing market facing thought papers

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider four years of progressive experience in the specialty in place of every year of education
  • Associate or professional-level certification in AWS or Azure or Google Cloud
  • 8 or more years of experience in design/implementation/consulting experience with enterprise technologies, Cloud migration and deployment; Database and Middleware
  • At least 4+ years working with AWS / Azure / Google Cloud services, with a good solid understanding of core services. Valid AWS / Azure certifications preferred
  • Strong communication & collaboration skills with ability to translate complex technical topics to senior client stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 80% will be required in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Big 4 consulting or equivalent experience in a leadership capacity
  • Hands-on experience of DevOps tools and DevOps practices for Cloud workload deployments
  • Hands-on experience with microservices design, and distributed applications, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the Cloud (AWS, Azure)
  • Working knowledge of Cloud software tools and migration methodologies
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
  • Strong understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis, and design
  • Experience working in a vertical environment preferred
  • Ability to communicate high level strategy and technical details effectively across disciplines, locations, and organizations
  • Demonstrates ability to conduct research and present information across levels
  • Demonstrates ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture (e.g.: TOGAF, Zacman, IAF, ITIL, COBIT)
