Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair of multiple airframes and types.
- Carry out the assigned tasks, in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual.
- Maintenance performed which have been completed or partially completed have been signed off.
- Ensure maintenance operations are performed in the appropriate sequence that inspections are requested in an orderly and timely manner and that maintenance activities are performed according to the appropriate maintenance data and customer requirements.
- Ensure test equipment or tools used to make airworthiness determinations are labeled and current.
- Request stock as required for the work being performed.
- Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record and complete the additional paperwork as required.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Remain cognizant of applicable FAR part 145 and 43.
- Familiar with the content of the company Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual and subsequent revisions.
- Responsible for recording OJT of tasks assigned.
- Immediately communicating to supervision any procedures, practices or habits, if not corrected might lead to injury, inefficiency or unairworthy conditions.
- The work demands flexible schedule and the ability to fit into small areas and work in confined spaces.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to comprehend and perform fuel system aircraft maintenance with training
- This is an entry level technical position with no less than 1 year of aircraft Fuel Cell maintenance and experience.
- A minimum of 1-2 years previous experience performing modification and repairs of aircraft fuel cells and systems preferred but not necessary.
- Reports to the Facility Supervisor and/or Facility Manager of company Repair Station.
- A Class C Technician is responsible for performing fuel tank maintenance.
- This includes preventive maintenance and alteration tasks as directed and assigned in accordance with the applicable maintenance data.
- The qualifications for this position are basic knowledge, experience and/or training required to perform the assigned task.
- This position will not be assigned management, supervisory or inspection duties and does not have authorization to sign a maintenance release for approving, maintained or altered article for return to service.
- Therefore, this position is not required to be certified under 14 CFR – part 65 or listed on the Management, Supervisor, or Inspector roster.

The candidate will have a senior engineer mentoring and coaching for developing the following skills:
+ Develops and evaluates design requirements and limitations under which fuel cell systems and/or their components must operate in Lunar and Martian Environments.
+ Designs and develops ground-based tests and support equipment required to demonstrate the utilization of fuel cell technology for Lunar applications.
+ Provide development, use, validation, and enhancement of analytical and modeling tools for the prediction of fuel cell performance, including steady state electrochemistry and reactant consumption.
+ Develops statements of work, evaluates proposals, initiates study and development contracts, and monitors contractor progress directed toward advancing state-of-the-art power generation systems.
+ Proposes and reviews technology projects for the purpose of evaluating or advancing the state of the art for fuel cell applications.
+ Develops and manages detailed project schedules comprised of internal and external milestones as well as tasks, associated progress, and definition of resources required for successful completion.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**Requisition Qualifications:**
This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the rig ht to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.
+ Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 2- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
+ Experience in proposing and reviewing technology projects for the purpose of evaluating or advancing the state of the art for fuel cell applications; experience in the application of engineering theories and principles as it pertains to energy conversion and electrochemistry systems processes and reactions.
**Requisition Preferences:**
+ BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of five years of engineering experience in Fuel Cells.
+ Specialized experience providing guidance and oversight for all phases of the project lifecycle, including concept of operations, requirements, and architecture definition; experience in the design, assembly, integration, testing, operations and sustaining engineering for fuel cell, atmospheric, and water electrolysis technologies.

+ Experience in planning and coordinating tasks with other agencies and contractors to ensure full integration of technical and operational requirements in support of technology development efforts.
+ Experience in proposing and reviewing technology projects for the purpose of evaluating or advancing the state of the art for fuel cell applications; experience in the application of engineering theories and principles as it pertains to energy conversion and electrochemistry systems processes and reactions.
+ Experience in developing testing requirements, test plans, overseeing integrated testing, interpreting the resulting data, and generating test reports; experience in project management, risk-based decision making, mission operations, and all aspects of Systems Engineering & Integration, including systems interface/integration.
+ Experience within the power engineering and systems engineering fields.
+ Prefer aerospace, electrical or chemical engineering degree.
+ Experience with NASA JSC Flight Hardware Life Cycle, Certification, and Engineering processes.
+ Working knowledge of NASA, JSC, and ISS standard practices and requirements including safety, fault tolerance, and unique disciplines.
+ Familiarity with NASA/JSC documentation databases and SharePoint sites.

The State Corporation Commission's Division of Public Utility Regulation (PUR) seeks a Renewable Energy Analyst interested in a rewarding public service career. The Division of PUR provides support to the Commission in its regulation of Virginia's investor-owned electric, natural gas, water and sewer utilities, member-owned electric cooperatives, and the telecommunications industry. The Renewable Energy Analyst works with utility, state, and industry partners to help manage the Commission's renewable energy programs by conducting investigations, analysis, and technical work in renewable energy and rate cases. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, generally 3 days of telework and 2 days in office per week, as well as continuing education, professional development opportunities, and career growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manually enter, track, and manage renewable energy project contracts in an electronic database
- Relative to such contracts, serve as a Staff liaison with the regional entity charged with managing renewable energy certificates associated with the energy production from these projects
- Investigate utility filings associated with renewable energy programs
- Evaluate utility rates in utility applications
- Document findings of investigations in pre-filed written testimony and reports
- Defend findings as a staff witness at evidentiary hearings
- Assist in maintaining, tracking, and analyzing renewable energy portfolio data
