Responsibilities
Responsibilities
+ Support investment banking team on the execution of M&A transactions.
+ Assist in preparation of confidential information memos, pitch materials, and presentations.
+ Develop and maintain complex financial models to perform various financial and valuation analyses.
+ Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research.
+ Play a key role in supporting origination, opportunity evaluation, and deal execution.
+ Occasional travel, to client sites.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree required with a major in business, finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
+ Minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in investment banking.
+ SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses must be acquired within 120 days of employment.
+ Quantitative and data-based skills, including experience in valuation and financial modeling.
+ Ability to learn quickly and ability to manage several projects at once.
+ Must reside in or around the Twin Cities and able to commute to the office.
+ Willing to maintain a hybrid schedule of at least 4 days in office.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $60,000 to $99,000 with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
