You will have the opportunity to work with multiple clients and lead high-performing teams to execute consulting projects for clients in the Financial Services industry (primarily community banks). What you will do:

  • Providing clients with subject matter expertise in the areas of internal audit, bank operations, reporting, and accounting
  • Overall project management, including planning, supervising, and executing consulting projects in the financial services industry
  • Performing root cause analysis related to project findings and drafting formal deliverables for client management summarizing project findings and recommendations
  • Managing engagement fundamentals (e.g., realization, utilization, leverage,)
  • Collaborating with clients and key stakeholders to understand business strategy and objectives, operational issues and challenges, and deliver solutions that optimize operations
  • Building, maintaining, and collaborating with an array of client stakeholders, from C-level executives to front-line supervisors, in understanding operational areas and identifying areas for improvement

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field
  • A minimum of 1 year or more of experience in consulting, public accounting or at a financial institution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CFSA, CRCM, CAFP, CAMS, CPA, AAP, APRP and/or CIA a plus
  • Knowledge of, and experience working with, federal banking regulations

**Banking Specialist**
The Banking Specialist promotes the organization's banking services, recognizes sales opportunities, opens accounts, delivers exceptional client service, and makes appropriate introductions to team specialists such as financial center managers, relationship managers, small business, commercial banking, and treasury management. This job understands client needs to offer the appropriate financial services and works with a wide array of retail or business clients with a focus on acquiring, retaining, and deepening client relationships.
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
+ Promotes financial services suitable for the client based on profiling, identifying client's needs, acting as an advocate and partnering with specialists throughout the enterprise.
+ Performs cash vault and/or other financial center operational responsibilities as directed.
+ Assists clients with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
+ Participates as a key team member by exceeding individual goals and objectives to allow the financial center to achieve their business plan.
+ Exceeds client expectation by taking ownership and accountability of the client and making the client's needs a priority.
+ Consistently meets/exceeds customer experience and individual/team production goal and enhances year-over-year revenue growth.
+ Refers customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
+ Executes the bank's risk culture and strives for operational excellence.
+ Adheres to established policies and procedures while opening/servicing the full range of Retail products.
+ Understands competitor products and services and advantages of the organization's banking products and services.
**Educational Requirements**
+ High School Preferred
**Work Experience**
+ No Experience Required; 2+ Years Preferred

+ 3+ years of retail banking experience.
+ Previous teller and cash handling experience.
+ Operational and universal knowledge and experience.

+ Strong customer service and multi-tasking skills.
