Typical duties include (based on experience):
+ Developing, allocating, and managing complex system, hardware, and software requirements for HV Battery Systems and Battery management systems

CACI is looking for a **Spacecraft Battery Systems Engineer** to work with NASA's human-rated spacecraft systems in support of our Nation's space exploration initiative at NASA / Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. This engineering position supports cell-level battery testing and inspection as well battery module materials and build-up for next generation space systems.
Specific assignments will involve analysis of battery cell data to characterize battery designs. Work will include supporting thermal runaway testing as well as advancing technologies supporting innovation around calorimetric measurement. The ideal candidate has a background space-rated battery domain.
