As a senior manager within our Health consulting practice, you'll work with clients across the healthcare industry, from hospitals and integrated delivery networks to commercial and governmental insurers. **The opportunity**
As part of EY's Health consulting practice, you will work with these clients across the country in solving complex problems in today's rapidly changing healthcare environment.  We currently are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, with a focus on provider operations, to manage client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services and manage business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.
**Your key responsibilities**
As a Senior Manager in our Health consulting group focused on Clinical Operations, you'll spend most of your time teaming with our provider team working with a broad spectrum of not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare clients, including hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices and academic medical centers, to assess and redesign clinical processes across the following areas:

+ Benchmarking and financial quantification
+ Cost reduction/revenue enhancement
+ Workflow redesign

**To qualify for the role, you must have**
+ A bachelor's degree and approximately 10 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience.
+ Approximately 7 years of healthcare consulting experience in provider operations; acute care experience is preferred.
+ Prior experience as a senior manager (or above), in a consulting firm or in a senior management role within industry
+ Ability to read and interpret hospital financial statements and contract terms, utilize complex financial models, experience with operational process mapping and experience with healthcare cost reduction planning and implementation
+ Experience with healthcare organization M&A, physician alignment, or financial margin improvement initiatives
+ Experience in selling and delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design and implementation support; demonstrated record of driving revenue within existing healthcare clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of large healthcare companies
+ Ability to manage a team of staff/senior/manager consulting professionals
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
+ A willingness to travel to meet client needs

Major Functions

Hiring Range

TRAINEE PARAMEDIC : $ - $1.677

CLEARED PARAMEDIC: - Hourly
Experience Pay for new hires with verified pre-hospital related experience:
  • 1 to 2 years full-time experience = 1% above starting rate
  • 3 to 5 years full-time experience = 2% above starting rate
  • 6+ years full-time experience = 4% above starting rate
Candidates with less than 1 year verified pre-hospital related experience can expect an offer at the minimum.
Shift Differential

Employees assigned will receive an additional 1.25 per hour for hours worked between 10pm and 4am which will increase to 1.85 per hour on October 1, 2023.

**The role you'll contribute:**
Manages the Medical Staff Office which includes the privileging process for AdventHealth Tampa, and AdventHealth Connerton. Works collaboratively with the Credentials Verification Office (CVO) of the West Florida Division to assure that documentation is received by applicants for initial or recurrent biannual privileging. Assures that the Medical Executive Committee, Division meetings, and all other Medical Staff Committees are appropriately organized, advertised, and memorialized through appropriate minutes of all proceedings by MSO staff. Works with Medical Staff leadership and hospital management in their duties as outlined within the Medical Staff Bylaws, Credentialing Rules, and General Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff; State of Florida law, and Federal law as required.

Compose, transcribe, and distribute letters to medical staff members resulting from actions taken by medical staff leadership (Medical Executive Committee and/or Board of Directors).
Assists with fathering of information in preparation and completion of all internally or externally required reports pertaining to medical staff
Ensures OPPE data is included in the recredentailing process.
Collabratively works with Physicain Services and Informatics Team to manages the organized medical staff operations to include ID badges and vehicle parking passes, assist with orientationand Cerener needs.

**Minimum qualifications** :
+ Bachelor's - Required
+ 2 years of leadership experience in credentialing - Required
+ 4 years of credentialing experience - preferred

Works with AHMG leadership regarding short and long term planning of physician and APP staffing

Establish and implement standard clinical protocols, policies and procedures, in accordance with ACOG guidelines, for the delivery of patient care. Focus on the effective delivery of patient care services offered by the Practice and the Practices compliance with the standards of applicable accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over one or more aspects of the Practice

Reasonably participate with AHMG Leadership in its investigation of patient complaints and/or claims related to the stated practices

Advise AHMG leadership relating to the purchase of clinical supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to practice according to the established clinical protocols

Serves as a mentor to new physicians added to AHMG Ob/Gyn practices.

Cooperate and participate with Employer in order to establish a consumer-centric environment and assist Employer in the management and resolution of complaints from patients and Medical Staff;

Make or direct the making of such reports and records as may be required by regulatory bodies, whether public or private, and by Employer;

Assist in the design and development of patient information, medical record, and consent forms for use within the Practice

Provide recommendations for in-service training of practice staff to support clinical outcomes.

Advise on the provision of inpatient services for hospitals with Women's Services and establish quality standards.

Partner with business development to provide input on growth strategies for OBGYN service lines.
