Beef Sales Director
Responsibilities:
+ Lead and develop the Inside Sales team to execute strategies and priorities of Fed Beef Division, ensuring effective leadership and team performance
+ Communicate and align strategic business plans with Marketing, Product Development, Finance and Supply Chain peers to maximize resources driving channel profitability and increased share
+ Responsible for KPI's/ budget delivery of revenue/margin
+ Maintain and grow existing customers through strategic relationship development and best practice account management including negotiations
+ Leads talent acquisition and development while fostering a strategic, agile team culture that leverages insights and product knowledge to influence customer behavior
+ Supports and contributes to the effective management of product inventory as assigned by plant (old age, push sheets and freight maximization)
+ Engages regularly with Sales Directors and key stakeholders to coordinate efforts and provide leadership with updates on opportunities and challenges
+ Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist customers in promoting sales
+ Ensure sale objectives are met within company strategies and maintain coordination with integral company functions and business units
+ Manage the Sales Pipeline Planning system
+ Forecast significant volume increases or decreases to sales leadership
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or related experience
+ Minimum 10 years in protein sales, beef preferred
+ 4-6 years prior sales leadership required
+ Ability to identify market trends and new product opportunities
+ Ability to build and maintain successful customer and stakeholder relationships
+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
+ Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

+ Base salary range of $200,000 - $225,000;and

Qualifications:

+ Prefer experience in Light Industrial environment operating in a multi-production process environment.
+ Understands Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazarded Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs. SQF, GMP, and HACCP certification preferred.
+ Able to comprehend (JL1) USDA guidelines and manufacturing requirements, processes and procedures.
+ Knowledge of lean manufacturing and able to develop improvements in existing processes.
+ Computer and mathematics skills are required. Prior experience with systems tracking of materials is preferred.
+ Able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment; with minimum guidance from management.

+ As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
+ Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment.

+ Base salary range of ($56,627.00-$68,802.30).
+ Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program.
