**Behavior Management Therapist - $6000 New hire bonus!**
Provide In-Home Behavioral Services in our Children and Family Services Division, to consumers within their given catchment area, ensuring compliance with the In-Home Behavioral Services Performance Specifications. Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBA) of youth demonstrating challenging behaviors that interfere with daily functioning in a variety of environments; including the design and implementation of behavior plans. Contribute to the on-going training and oversight of Family Service Providers within his/her site and the agency at large.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide In-Home Behavioral Services to identified youth and families within given catchment area
+ Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBA) of youth
+ Complete individualized, strengths-based behavior management plans
+ Participate in Care Planning Teams for identified youth and families
+ Provide outreach counseling to individuals, groups, families, and couples, as necessary
+ Consult with outside agencies, referral sources, and other professionals as necessary
+ Attend weekly supervision, and staff meetings, and consultations as required
+ Follow the Medical Necessity Criteria, Performance Specifications, and Service Definitions for In-Home Behavioral Services
+ Meet direct service requirements based on part time or full time status, as designated
+ Support the referral process for In-Home Behavioral Services. Ensure families are contacted according to state-mandated benchmarks
+ Assist with developing and providing supervision training programs for Family Service Providers
+ Submit documentation and ensure it meets the Performance Specifications set forth by the state and is submitted timely
+ Outreach to community providers to develop and foster solid working relationships and awareness of CBHI services
+ Participate in Systems of Care meetings and other CBHI-related meetings (as assigned)
+ Adhere to company policies, administrative directives, therapy guidelines, codes of conduct and all office and administrative procedures
+ Respond to client emergencies as needed, especially with regards to In-Home Behavioral Services Performance Specifications
+ Maintain contact with site by checking voicemail and emails daily.
+ Keep supervisor informed of progress on all cases
+ Adhere to provisions of M.G.L Chapter 119, Section 51A (Mandated Reporter); report all occurrences immediately to the clinic. Complete crisis reporting protocol as required.
+ Adhere to clinical recommendations from clinical administration
+ Maintain confidentiality in all clinical matters. Adhere to HIPAA standards and regulations.
+ Remain compliant with billing, documentation, and minimum service delivery to substantiate each billable unit
Requirements
+ Master's Level Practitioner AND: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA);
+ OR Enrolled in a behavior analyst training program and eligible for certification within nine months;
+ OR Master's levels mental health practitioner working under the supervision of a BCBA;
+ OR a psychologist licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Psychology with experience performing functional behavioral assessments and implementing and evaluating intervention strategies;
+ OR aMaster's level mental health practitioner with relevant training and two years' experience with the above essential functions. PC Literacy and experience with MS Office Applications

The Behavior Management Therapist will work under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor/LBA to conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and train team members to support the individuals we serve.
At Northway Academy, the Clinical Team is led by the Clinical Supervisor who is a Licensed Behavior Analyst who supports, mentors and provides supervision towards obtaining certification to our clinical team. This team is talented, hardworking and enjoy sharing their knowledge and skills to those who we serve and the staff that provides the quality care.
What separates us from others.our clinical team concentrates on creating individualized assessments and interventions tailored to the specific needs of each individual with the goal of increasing socially important behaviors in order to help that individual thrive in their community. They do not supervise our Behavior Technicians, but collaborate with and work side by side as a team to really focus on the training and support needed to be successful.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Work closely with the children and staff to observe, identify, analyze, and document a range of behavior problems. Derived from that analysis, develop and implement strategies to address identified problem areas
+ Develop programs to increase skills and provided ABA therapy throughout the day
+ Use your training and creativity to explore ways to handle challenging problems for our individuals to be successful in the home, at school, and in the community
+ Create individualized treatment plans to help increase functional skills for the individuals served
+ Train team members on the principles of behavior analysis and individual programming to promote client success
+ Conduct trainings for caregivers to teach the skills necessary for their child's success
+ Collaborate with other team members to translate the respective treatment plan into measurable steps and benchmarks to evaluate and monitor
**Education, Experience, and Certifications:**
+ Enrolled in Master's program in Applied Behavior Analysis, **OR** currently enrolled in a graduate program in one of the mental health professional disciplines **OR** have a Master's degree in a mental health field
+ Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board preferred **OR** otherwise has documented fieldwork supervision **_working towards_** Board Certification.
+ Has at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience or training in examining or treating people with ASD or a related condition or equivalent documented coursework at the graduate level by an accredited university in ASD diagnostics, ASD developmental and behavioral treatment strategies, and typical child development or a combination of coursework or hours of experience
**OR**
+ Has a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral or child development science or related field, including, but not limited to mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, or occupational therapy
+ Has at least 1,000 hours of supervised clinical experience or training in examining or treating people with ASD or a related condition or equivalent documented coursework at the graduate level by an accredited university in ASD diagnostics, ASD developmental and behavioral treatment strategies, and typical child development or a combination of coursework or hours of experience
+ Has certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board **OR** otherwise has documented fieldwork supervision **_working towards_** Board Certification.
**Additional Requirements and Personal Skills:**

SUMMARY
Provide crisis intervention and behavior management services to students and their families. Serves as a member of diagnostic teams and members of educational planning and placement committees and provides liaison services for students to teachers, administration, community agencies and family.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.
- In coordination with staff, parents or guardians, develops and monitors implementation of behavior intervention service programs for students
- Provides direct intervention services to students in cooperation with teachers, physicians, and parents.
- Participates in and provides input to the individual education team for the students.
- Monitors student intervention programs for appropriateness and effectiveness.
- Recommends appropriate and proven intervention methods for individual students as needed.
- Establishes positive relationships with students and adults.
- Provides social skill training and assists students in implementing skills for successful integration in the classroom.
- Acts as a liaison between school and outside resources.
- Provides information and support to parents.
- Provides consultative services to classroom teachers.
- Provides direct service to student to de-escalate behaviors and implement physical interventions as needed.
- Provides post crisis services and follow up to students, staff and family members.
- Keep records of student behavior progress and programs implemented to achieve desired behaviors.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises students.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work or related mental health career fields. Experience working with young people in an educational setting preferred. Previous experience or training in behavior management and crisis intervention and prevention preferred

JRI's In-Home Behavioral Services are behaviorally-driven, therapeutic intervention models aimed at reducing children's and youth's challenging behaviors that are interfering with their daily functioning. Services are delivered by highly skilled therapists and behavior monitors. Our teams work closely with children and families, in their homes and communities. Our strategies and interventions are designed to meet the specific needs of each child or youth referred to the program. Our goal is to reduce the child's challenging behaviors, provide relief and support, and sustainable solutions.
Salary: $7,500 - 57,500 per year
Sign-on Bonus: We are offering a 1,000 sign on bonus paid out in full after 6 months of employment.
Schedule: This position requires availability to work from afternoons into the evenings to meet the needs of families.
What You'll Do:
In this position, you will support families in implementing behavior plans, monitoring the youth's behavior through various data collection methods, coaching, modeling and assisting caregivers with the developed strategies and interventions.
You will work both independently and collaboratively alongside the Therapist and other team members. The ideal candidate will have self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication abilities. Additionally, flexibility is essential, as this position requires availability for early mornings and evenings.

Behavior Management Monitor-$6,000 New Hire Bonus
The Behavior Management Monitor role provides community-based behavioral therapeutic services to youth and families. With the supervision of the Behavior Management Therapist, and the support and guidance of a qualified Clinician, we aim to assist the youth and family in achieving the goals set forth in the treatment plan and functional behavioral assessments (FBA) of youth. Monday - Friday, day and after school hours.
Responsibilities:

Provide In-Home Behavioral Services to identified youth and families within a given catchment area

Work with Masters level Behavior Management Therapist in implementing the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan

Monitor progress of the functional behavioral assessments (FBA) of youth
-
Teach youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations.

Improve patterns of interaction with youth & family to enhance problem-solving, limit-setting, safety planning, communication, and skill-building to strengthen the family unit.

Provide skills training and demonstrate application of such to youth & family.
-
Identify and utilize community resources with youth & family.
-
Keep clinician and/or supervisor informed of progress on all behavioral changes.
-
Adhere to recommendations from clinician and/or supervisor.
-
Complete documentation according to schedule established by the clinic; remain compliant with documentation of visits.

Maintain compliance using Electronic Health Record, including billing and documentation as per company procedures
-
Adhere to company policies, codes of conduct, administrative directives, and therapy guidelines, and all office and administrative procedures.

Adhere to provisions of M.G.L Chapter 119, Section 51A (Mandated Reporter); report all occurrences immediately to the clinic. Complete MENTORs crisis reporting protocol as required

Maintain confidentiality in all clinical matters. Adhere to HIPAA standards and regulations

Responsible for transporting persons served
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in a human service field from an accredited university and minimum of (3) year of behavioral experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-age youth,
Or; Bachelors degree in a human service field from an accredited university and minimum of (1) year of behavioral experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-age youth.

Must be willing to work some mornings, afternoons and early evenings/after school hours.

Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle.

JRI's In-Home Behavioral Services program is a dedicated home-based initiative focused on helping youth recognize and manage challenging behaviors. Our team collaborates closely with both the child and their family to develop and execute personalized behavior plans aimed at enhancing the child's overall functioning. Our treatment approach is grounded in behavioral principles and tailored to address the distinct needs of each child and family.
Salary: $47,500 - $7,500 per year
JRI Provides The Training So That:
- You will collaborate with a team to deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to youth exhibiting challenging and difficult behaviors.
- You will implement home and community-based behavioral interventions to empower caregivers in managing these behaviors and fostering positive alternatives for success.
- You will partner with Behavioral Therapists to coach and model interventions that are grounded in a positive behavioral perspective, viewed through a trauma-informed lens.

- Must be 21 years of age.
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, ABA, Education or related field is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in counseling, functional behavior assessment, data tracking and implementation of behavioral interventions to address mental health needs.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with a familiarity with technology and a willingness to learn different electronic systems.
- Knowledge of various behavioral health treatment modalities for children and families.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle as transporting youth is required.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
