**Responsibilities** Serves as Behavioral Analyst, specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Provide individualized consultations to IN management in regard to behavioral indicators that may impact placement or retention of DOE/NNSA personnel in high-risk assignments.
+ Conduct presentations and courses that demonstrate strong, recognizable expertise in behavioral dynamics; and that enable recipients to recognize, understand, and mitigate national security-related vulnerabilities and threats associated with foreign intelligence operatives and trust-betraying insiders.
+ Providing specific psychological consultations to IN investigative elements regarding Subject behavioral motivations and intentions, and formulating related interactions strategies in support of highly sensitive investigations that have significant national security implications.
+ Engage in behavioral consulting with other DOE/NNSA elements to ensure that CI-related objectives and values are directly considered or factored into decisions affecting major operational activities, including such matters as adjudicating clearances, promoting sound personnel security practices, and insider threats.
+ Conduct interviews and/or assessments of candidates who are under consideration for DOE/NNSA high risk access at HQs and, when applicable, at field sites. The goal of these interviews shall be to determine the nature of concerning behaviors candidates may have which may adversely impact national security and affect decisions regarding high-risk placements.
+ Participate in the development, delivery, and updating awareness education content in support of various training courses regarding a variety of national security-related behavioral issues. These issues vary but would include preventing and detecting espionage; recognizing trust betrayal motivations; and identifying psychological behavioral issues that could impact access determinations and that may have implications for the national security.
+ Participate in developing, advising on, and/or providing content information for deployment in state-of-the-art computerized software applications and/or other assessment instruments used to detect divided loyalties and trust betrayal vulnerabilities, as well as to instill countermeasures that preserve national security.
+ Brief the results of medical and/or psychological assessments to select DOE/NNSA management officials who are responsible for maintaining program security and/or administering access eligibility determinations.
+ Participate and/or testify in administrative hearing or proceedings as an expert witness, when called upon by the DOE to support findings and conclusions from medical and/or psychological consulting engagements, as they may impact DOE/NNSA access eligibility decisions and clearance adjudications. Conducting interviews, behavioral assessments and briefings throughout the DOE complex.
+ Document the psychological "lessons learned" from reviews or inquiries conducted by DOE/NNSA CI personnel or acquired through relevant data sources from other Intelligence and National Security agencies to identify the human behaviors and attitudes that are linked to espionage, terrorism, sabotage, insider trust betrayals, security violations, cyber-related vulnerabilities and infractions, and other matters of CI significance.
+ Provide situational support to senior management initiatives regarding psychological factors impacting CI Insider Threat assessments and/or damage control in such areas as espionage, sabotage, terrorism, unusual behaviors or malicious acts in the information technology arena, and other compelling CI concerns.
+ Provide "outreach" support within DOE/NNSA as well as outside of DOE, including speaking at Personnel Security (PERSEC) conferences, assisting in training for adjudicators, and meeting with private sector or other federal agencies relative to the Insider Threat mission.
+ Conduct presentations and courses that demonstrate strong, recognizable expertise in behavioral dynamics; and that enable recipients to recognize, understand, and mitigate national security-related vulnerabilities and threats associated with foreign intelligence operatives and trust-betraying insiders.
**Requirements**
+ Active Top Secret Clearance
+ Advanced degree from an accredited university or college.
+ Possess at least six (6) years of direct experience in providing psychological consultation services, which were performed in a highly sensitive national security operating environment.
+ Have knowledge and experience related to identifying and interpreting behaviors associated with national security concerns.

**Description**
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP), is seeking a licensed behavioral analyst with extensive experience in classroom, practicum, and community partnership training to serve as faculty with a professional appointment at the Assistant or Associate level. The successful faculty member will provide graduate-level teaching and practicum supervision of behavioral analysis students throughout the University of Rochester and the surrounding community.
This position will have substantial teaching responsibilities, including at least four graduate-level courses in the Applied Behavior Analysis program in the Warner School of Education. The position also includes evaluation and placement of student practicum, advising for all ABA programs, and student support for continuing education, professional, certification, and licensing activities.
This is a joint appointment with a primary appointment in DBP (0.20 FTE) and a secondary one in the Warner School of Education (0.80 FTE). The role includes, but is not limited to:
· **Technical Assistance:** Provide technical assistance to community partners, including but not limited to professional development on developmental disabilities and related disorders, co-occurring disorders; professional development on evidence-based practices for developmental disabilities and associated disorders, including co-occurring disorders; parent education and training supporting their understanding of disability, evidence-based integration, collaboration, and advocacy.
· **Administrative:** Administrative responsibilities include, identifying and establishing community partnerships meeting the state and accreditation requirements for clinical training in applied behavior analysis; Providing ongoing support to community behavior analysts actively supervising students in the Programs in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Warner School of Education and Human Development, facilitate community supervisor compensation with the Warner School of Education and Human Development Finance department, maintain all professional and student documentation of clinical training, maintain communication and support to the Programs in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Warner School of Education and Human Development alumni
· **Advising** : Evaluate student experiences, competencies, and interests for appropriate practicum placement, serve as the secondary advisor for all Programs in Applied Behavioral Analysis, and support student exploration for post-master experiences, including continuing graduate education and professional opportunities.
· **Research:** Collaboratively initiate, develop, and maintain an Applied Behavior Analysis research group at the Warner School of Education & Human Development while maximizing collaboration opportunities with the Department of Pediatrics and the Division of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics.
· **Instruction:** Teach the equivalent of four three-credit graduate courses annually (80%). Courses include, but are not limited to:
· Professional & Ethical Conduct for Behavior Analysts (Fall)
· Performance Management & Staff Training in Education & Human Services (Summer)
· Autism Spectrum Disorder (Spring)
· Practicum in Applied Behavior Analysis (Fall, Spring, Summer)

**Qualifications**
The minimum requirements include a master's degree in behavioral analysis, board certification in behavioral analysis, and license in behavior analysis in New York State. Qualified applicants are expected to have extensive (minimum 5 years) teaching at the graduate level and experience with student practicum placement, supervision, and evaluation. Applicants must have or be eligible for a New York State medical license and pass pre-employment drug testing.
