Job Description

The Business Intelligence team (BI) is responsible for delivery of all data analytics and governance in support of both GOS service lines and GOS clients. The Client Data Solution Lead’s responsibilities include data mapping, data assessments and analysis, data governance support, POC dashboard development, user acceptance testing, reporting support, opportunity assessments, tabular model support, workplace trend analysis, benchmarking analysis, and general product support for client BI platform.

Primary Duties

• Support the client and account team to design, build, and implement dashboards aligned with the client’s BI platform and global data strategy initiatives

• Ability to gather requirements, communicate with the business, and build final solution from a technical and business perspective

• Focus on client delivery and key stakeholder management

• Develop the Analytics roadmap with the account team and the client including schedule, scope, and investment

• Contribute to Intake/Backlog, data dictionary, report inventory and process for developing custom dashboards

• Partner with the client technology team to understand their technical requirements

• Ability to manage key client and account team relationships

• Design BI solutions to assist with account team reporting needs without impacting the delivery of the long-term roadmap and final solution

• Proactively analyze the client’s portfolio and provide support in identifying risks and opportunities

• Drive continuous improvement in the automation and standardization of data requirements

• Utilize advanced analytics tools to transform data, automate workflows and develop analytical tools

• Work effectively with all areas of the business to identify required dashboard visualizations and associated calculations to build dashboards

• Technical documentation and process documentation as required for activities within the data workstream

• Provide both verbal and written updates to management on the progress of work

Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering or Technology

Experience in:

  • Business analytics or data visualization software

  • Data mapping and modelling

  • Self-motivated with a client-centric focus

  • Power BI is preferred

  • SQL is preferred

  • Alteryx is preferred

  • Power Automate/Apps is a plus

  • Being part of a software product team or BI product team is a plus

  • Handling commercial real estate data is a plus

  • Team leadership is a plus

About the team Trust and Safety Operations is a pivotal team within U.S. Data Security. We strive to enable TikTok to become the most trusted and secure platform in the US through operational excellence in content moderation via innovations in technology, optimization in processes and investment in people. We ensure that we enforce our policies based on our community guidelines and we take appropriate actions in a timely manner to minimize risks on our platform to our users and advertisers. Our Operations team performs a critical function that supports our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content. Content that this team interacts with includes images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; and murder. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content on a daily basis. In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - A bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related subjects is preferred. - 3 to 5 years of experience in management, business process improvement, or analytical roles in content moderation or similar fields. Such as call centers and adverts moderation in tech companies. - Experience in data science programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) - Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines - Experience working with Business Insights tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc. - Proficiency in Excel & Google sheet - Ability to craft executive-ready narratives around complex business or operational topics and successfully influence VP+ decision making Preferred Qualifications - Strong experience conducting and evaluating A/B tests, ideally in Financial and/or Operational related fields and using Python for data extraction (APIs), ETL tasks, and automation - Knowledge of statistical analysis or data modeling techniques, including hypothesis testing, experiment design, and common regression and classification algorithms. - Experience in Customer Experience and Operations teams - Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role. - Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ - $ annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
