As a Building Maintenance Repair Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining the infrastructure, grounds, and equipment of our institution. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Repairs and maintains physical structure in an establishment using a variety of hand or power tools; does basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical repair; fixes doors, locks, windows, hinges, catches, etc.; repairs mechanical equipment in the building; changes plugs, replaces worn wire, light bulbs, etc.; unstops drains, install toilets and plumbing fixture replacements; installs and repairs screens, window panes, etc.; may supervise trainees.

Education and Experience Requirements
+ Requires an education equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
+ 1-2 years of previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical repair is preferred.
+ 1-3 years of experience in a customer service position is preferred.
+ Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and software.
+ Ability to liftupto 50 lbs.
+ Ability to maneuver heavy material weighing up to 300 lbs.
+ Must possess practical business communication skills and the ability to understand the local branch market.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills for dealing with end users and customers.
+ Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines is paramount to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
+ Acquire and maintain industry or product-specific certifications or licenses that may be required.
+ Proficiency in English, written and verbal.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
+ Must be proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
+ Ability to travel up to 10% using the quickest and most cost-effective mode of transportation (Flight, Bus, Train, & etc.)
**This position offers an hourly range of $25 - $30 in addition to comprehensive benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement options.**

**Repair Technician - Medical Devices**
Location: Wellington, FL
Pay:$20-$1/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Contract 6-month contract-to-hire with full training provided

**What You'll Do**
+ Repair, assemble, and test medical endoscopes (rigid, flexible, and optical)
+ Follow ISO-certified procedures to ensure top-quality standards
+ Diagnose issues and document findings for customer service
+ Report damaged tools or parts and support continuous improvement
+ Collaborate with a team and take on additional tasks as needed
+ Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
**Work Environment**
+ Bench setup for detailed repair work (small and large diameter scopes)
+ Cleanroom, temperature-controlled facility
+ Scrubs provided upon permanent hire
**Training & Development**
+ 6-month hands-on training program
+ Learn testing, repair techniques, and how to prepare work orders and quotes
+ Gain skills in calibrating medical equipment (no prior experience needed)
**What You Bring**
+ 1+ year of experience in assembly or electrical repair
+ Comfortable working under a microscope and performing repetitive tasks
+ Strong hand-eye coordination and experience with hand tools
+ Detail-oriented and eager to learn
**Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)**
+ Experience with small components, electronics, or medical devices
+ Experience in jewelry or watch repair
+ Tech-savvy (e.g., phone/laptop repair)
